Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has released a notification for a Special Stray Vacancy Round for admissions into MBBS courses under the Management Quota for the academic year 2024-25. Fresh web options must be exercised within November 21, 2024 10 AM to November 24, 2024 9 PM.
Dr. NTR Univeristy of Health Science, Vijayawada has released the Stray Vacancy Round college-wise allotment lists for MBBS under MQ and BDS courses under CQ. Selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges immediately.
Dr. NTR University Of Health Science, Andhra Pradesh had issued the final priority list under the CAP category for admission into MBBS & BDS courses under the competent authority quota. The priority list is finalised by Sainik Welfare Department. Candidates can download the list form fromofficial website at drntr.uhsap.in.
Dr. NTR Univeristy Of Health Science, A.P,Vijaywada, on a notice dated September 25, declared that they had extended the date of online applications for admission into B.Sc.(N) 4 YD and Post Basic B.Sc.(N) 2 YD courses. This facility was avibale till September 30, 2024. This notice further stated that “no further extension of date will be given in view of INC Schedule. Hence, desirous candidates shall utilize the opportunity to submit online application as scheduled”.
After the MCC extension notification, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada extended the Andhrapradesh NEET Counselling 2024 reporting date till September 25, 2024 (3 PM). Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 registration process was scheduled from August 9, 2024, 10 AM to August 16, 2024, till 6 PM. Candidates who wants to register but missed the last date can now register with late fee beginning August 19, 9 AM onwards. The registration window will be open till the publication of the AP NEET 2024 Counselling provisional merit list. The list of all 43,788 candidates with names on the final NEET 2024 Merit List eligible to apply for the counselling registration process was released earlier by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences (YSRUHS).
- Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 for MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS 85% state quota seats will be conducted by Dr YSR University of Health Sciences tentatively in August, 2024.

AP NEET Counselling Process 2024
Candidates need to register for AP NEET counselling 2024 for admission to 85% state quota seats in MBBS and BDS. The application forms for Andhra Pradesh NEET MBBS Admissions 2024 have been made available from August 9-16, 2024. Those who are interested but yet to register for the counselling process can do so paying the late registration fee. To complete the AP NEET Counselling process, here are the steps to follow:
Online Registration, Filling Application Form, and Payment of Fee
- Go to the official website of Dr. YSR Institute of Health Sciences for registration i.e. drysr.uhsap.in.
- Click on the Online Registration link and enter details like NEET roll number, NEET Rank, DOB, Mobile Number, etc.
- Submit by clicking on the validate tab. The online registration is complete. Now, log in using the AP NEET Counselling registration number generated in this step.
- Fill the Application form with the respective personal and educational details.
- Complete the application form and click on submit.
- Take note of the registration ID and password for future reference.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024: Seat Allotment
AP State Merit List
- State Merit List will be released by NTRUHS on the official website for candidates who have successfully completed the document verification process.
- The merit list will mention the names of AP NEET Counselling registered candidates along with their state rank and category-wise ranks.
AP MBBS/ BDS Courses and Colleges Choice Filling
- Candidates need to log in to the website with the earlier generated ID and password to fill in their preferences for courses and colleges.
- There is no defined limit on the number of courses and colleges that can be selected from the available list of options.
- It must be noted that MBBS/ BDS seats will be allocated based on the choices filled by the candidates.
AP NEET Seat Allotment
- AP NEET Seat Allotment list is released by NTRUHS based on NEET score, rank obtained in state merit list, and choices filled by the candidates
- Candidates need to report at the institute for confirmation of seats.
- The Seats left vacant after the first allotment are carried forward to the second round and so on.
AP NEET Counselling 2024: Documents Required
Candidates need the following documents for completing the verification process post online submission of AP NEET Counselling application.
- NEET 2024 Admit Card
- NEET 2024 Rank Card
- SSC or equivalent examinations showing the date of birth
- Memorandum of marks qualifying examination in the intermediate or equivalent examination, Transfer certificate
- Study certificate(s) from 6th class to intermediate
- In case candidates studied in the institutions outside the state of Andhra Pradesh, a residence certificate of the candidate or either of the parents was issued by MRO/Tahsildar. (excluding study period outside the state) for a period of 10 years (years of period to be specified)
- In case candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim
- Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by an Officer prescribed.
- In case claiming fee exemption, the latest income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO/Tahsildar or white ration card
- Aadhar Card
- Minority certificate issued by Minorities Welfare Department, Government of AP
