The college faculty was really good at teaching. I personally opted biochemistry as GE and the biochemistry department faculty is really awesome.
There are lot of opportunities for conferences, internships, workshops etc etc The campus life is fabulous.
You can participate in variety of societies as per your interest. Lots of functions get arranged for that and you actually get to participate and win prizes.
Dislikes
The water quality and availability was not at all good.
The teachers were not supportive in regard of attendance. Thats y you cannot do many internships other than the summer ones.
The infrastructure is okayish. But the buildings are quite old. And the college renovation never gets complete.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of course is really great. We get to study 20-25 subjects in entire year and we also get to perform hands on for that. The subjects got taught all over were really important and helpful for masters entrance exams. And now as the degree got of 4 years instead. Curriculum have got changed entirely and a lot of things got added. More focus on internships and desperation is being given now.
Campus vibes are really nice, places near north campus the markets are good
I like some of my teachers also as they r so knowledgeable
I like my college somewhere because development in sciences is good
Dislikes
I dislike the chain snatching phone snatching things around the campus
I hate the sec vac subject and some teacher look forward them as mains
I really hate that seminars also provide attendance to us
Course Curriculum Overview:
I think zoology as a subject does not help us to deal with real time problems thats why i cant say much about it, but yes i find this new education policy as a flop model i dont find it right to give 7 subjects to a person its not making our degree multidisciplinary but its making it a master of none kinda situation
I liked Quality of education. The faculty of Zoology department was really good. The labs were air conditioned and well equipped.
I liked the Diwali Mela and donation drives of NSS. They really organises good fests as well. They make us participate in various activities for the betterment of the society
I liked the library very much Classrooms and lawn are so clean and well maintained.
Dislikes
The auditorium washroom are not good. They are so bad.
The canteen need to be better. They should provide proper meals. They only have unhealthy oily foods.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The subject Zoology is very interesting. It gives you a vast knowledge on animal kingdom. It's interesting to study the effective measure to save the animals and the earth.
The theory and practical knowledge that the course provides helps us to have strong base on the subject. The quality is quite good.
I think we should get more educational trips to the wildlife sanctuary. Otherwise the teaching methods are quite good.
Exams are held semester basis. And there is internal exam for theory which includes tests and PPT. Practical exam which includes marks the practical file and viva. Then at last the theory exam. The difficulty level is from moderate to difficult.
The library is quite good. You can sit and study quitely till 4:30-5pm
The teachers are nice if you behave well with them
Dislikes
Canteen is okayish. You can just eat there for your Survival.
There's sometimes water problem in the washrooms which is quite disturbing
There are not many water tankers in the college. You won't find water in summers for drinking

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose zoology honors. It's a quite difficult one if you don't choose to study regularly. The faculty is okayish. There's no such thing as called 'friendly environment' in the college. The exam pattern is a little hard so it's not that scoring. But overall it's a good, go-with-the-flow kind of course.
The course is quite fun and there is a lot of interesting information you can learn.
There's no shortage of teachers in our college as we got at least 2 teachers per subject and different teachers for theory and practicals.
Some teachers really put effort into teaching but some just come with a PowerPoint presentation and play and ask us to note it down.
Exams were on a proper schedule and they were moderate if you've studied well.
As I was a student of science background found it more fruitful to choose zoology hons rather than other subjects on an interest basis and conceptual understanding since my childhood teacher are so nice and all are PhD scholar having extreme knowledge about their respective subject to clarify it
There was 2 semester in one year so a total of 6 and the level of the exam is easy to moderate approx 90% question paper based on the previous year's paper.
Opting for zoology is my personal choice as having an interest in animal physiology and anatomy. It is really interesting to know about how our body works.
The faculty of du is really well worked.
Qualification of the faculty is mostly phd our they are working as assistant professors there. Really very knowledgeable faculty.
The teaching method is good making things easy to understand mostly in a flowchart format.
There are 2 semesters in a year. In zoology, you have to mainly focus on what is more important in a syllabus and taking account the one-word and difference-based questions more.
I am not aware of that because our department students did not get placement. Placement is not provided to students of zoology, botany or life sciences. Placements were provided to students of commerce backgrounds.
During the 3rd year, the student is eligible for campus placements but my course is BSC Zoology Hons. So after completing graduation, I will go for master's in zoology and after that, we are eligible for the NET JRF exam which after clearing I got a stipend for my Ph.D.
I was interested in gathering information about animals.
Teachers in our colleges are quite helpful and well qualified. All teachers are almost PhD scholars and their teachings method quality is awesome. The course curriculum is quite relevant and interesting. Semester exams were average. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate and the passing percentage is 35%.
