Remarks

I got merit-based admission to Daulat Ram College. You need to clear the required cutoff and must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology individually. All the admission-related information can be found on Delhi University's official website which is du.ac.in Entrance exams are clearly better than merit-based systems and they are being applied from this year onwards so we need to watch how things roll out.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is quite fun and there is a lot of interesting information you can learn. There's no shortage of teachers in our college as we got at least 2 teachers per subject and different teachers for theory and practicals. Some teachers really put effort into teaching but some just come with a PowerPoint presentation and play and ask us to note it down. Exams were on a proper schedule and they were moderate if you've studied well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 18,000 fees per year which according to me is not very much for a degree course and such a reputated institution. All the facilities are included in it and no other charges have to be paid by students throughout the year. Some top students get scholarships as well.

Campus Life

4

There are many fests held in the college. Biggest of all is the annual cultural fest called Manjari which is a 2-day fest in which there is a celebrity event and DJ night and lots of food and stuff. There are many other fests like the Diwali fest and NSS conducted fest. The library is usually closed but almost all academic boons can be found there. The classrooms are very spacious and most rooms in the Zooey department have air conditioners and a water filter facility which is a very nice thing. There are many clubs and societies run by students.

Other Applied Colleges

All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Could not clear cut off.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.
