Remarks

The eligibility of course that a person should have a medical stream in his/her boards. And if u will get admission in that course would completely depend on the cutoff of that year for that particular course. The application form will be filled in the online mode that you can easily get on the University site and the fee has to be submitted online mode too. If you are in the reserved category then u will get relief of 1-2 percentage lower than the general category. No, the entire admission process was in a very systematic way so I don't want any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Because of my love for animals, I was curious to study them so I choose that course. The facility of our dept was very good excellent. There were at least two teachers for every theory class and for practicals for one lab three to four teachers were there to guide us. And every teacher of our department have their doctorate, they all were very well qualified. All of them try to teach every aspect or concept in a very practical way. There was a timetable for a particular semester that was provided to us at the starting of the semester. And every event of dept uses to happen on time. The entire staff including teachers and lab assistants was very disciplined. Nothing is much difficult to pass if u studied well so these exams were easy for those who study on daily basis.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I did not get an internship at my graduation level. Basically, internships in the Zoology dept were held on a different ministry like environment ministry or so on and internship was also provided in different colleges of our campus.

Placement Experience

4

I am not aware of that because our department students did not get placement. Placement is not provided to students of zoology, botany or life sciences. Placements were provided to students of commerce backgrounds.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees have to submit in an online mode later then a hard copy of the fee receipt was provided by the college bank on the basis of your online fee receipt. And for my department fee for one year was approximately 16000. I did not get any scholarship from University but of course, I got a scholarship from NSP.

Campus Life

4.5

One fest was held in a department named plexus which means a cluster of neurons since my dept was zoology. This was organised in Feb month every year. And our college fest named Manjari was organised at end of Feb or at the end of March every year. The College library was divided into the department that is like the science department, the Arts department and so on and every important book was present in the college library whether it is written by an Indian author or a foreign author. Classes were wide and 2-3fans were in one class and a proper ventilation system was also in the classroom. And in labs 2-3AC were there. And for winters heaters were there. Every year college celebrates its foundation day and also sports day was celebrated in the college. Yes, many clubs or activities were run by students like NSS camp or many camps like self defence camp.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
