The course curriculum is tough as in the earliest semester we have to complete our whole course in 3 months but in actuality, it should be there for three months. they have a vast syllabus and also do not cut a single chapter and faculty members are so good that they completed the given course in a given time.
Economic Honour is a well-versed course that has a reputation in the market. The whole Economic Department is very nice. Well-qualified teachers and a simple and easy way of teaching. Exams are taken based on the semester wise.
It is active but not that much since it's an off-campus college. But still, placements are provided by our college with good stipends and those companies also provide a lot of experience and knowledge for our future.
I chose this course as I wanted to do economics honors which I, unfortunately, couldn't enroll in so as per my plans I went ahead and I decided to do a BA program in economics. As I got admission when we were in the middle of the lockdown our university received unusual no. Of applications which resulted in extremely high no. Of admissions because of which the most I've had was 114 students in a class. The Professor and assistant professor of my colleague hold a master's to a Ph.D. degree in their respective subjects .thee teaching method is pretty flexible. They won't mind repeating something if it's needed. Term exams are not that difficult, especially in my case whatever has been taught in the lectures it's just it we just have to attend our lectures and pay some attention.
The teacher takes one assignment and one internal test. You have to give 1 exam every semester.
If you're studying an exam so you can surely pass the exam but if you're not so it's difficult
My course is political science and I really like to learn more about politics so that's why I chose this course. because the subject is more interesting if you like that subject
The student ratio is really high. In every class you will get 100+ students in that atmosphere is difficult to listen to your professor also.
Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, and Samsung provide job opportunities here giving a decent CTC to students applying. Projects are given to students to enhance their resume and try to bag the best job they can get..also it gives a personality for interview..the average package is like 5 lack and almost 40 percent of students sit for placement but few do get into...my plans for future is to keep carrying my studies for masters
Placements come in the fourth year, before the exams. And after the interview, if you are eligible according to their criteria. You will get the job. But for that, your content should be great, and your knowledge and marks should be enough.
Placements offers come every year, it depends on your hard work, marks and content and knowledge you will get that job or not.. They provide approx. 1.5L annually packages to students. The amount of package differ from course to course.
Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th sem (in the last year of their graduation degree),
And I'll go for higher studies in the same field. (For master's degree) As there are not many options for a bachelor's degree.
Exams conduct twice a year. Although, your program will consider annual. But you've to give exams in December and May. And if you study well and hard work, it's not at all difficult to pass the examination.
