Remarks

The admission process is well and smooth. Nowadays every campus started the admission process via online mode. You've been given an entrance exam after the 12th (CEE - Common Entrance Exam) and you have to score 50% in your 12th from a registered board or equivalent to that.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams conduct twice a year. Although, your program will consider annual. But you've to give exams in December and May. And if you study well and hard work, it's not at all difficult to pass the examination.

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides SCP (School Contact Program) 1st year to every student. And it is mandatory to attend. In 3rd year, it provides you with block teaching and observation classes. And also in the 4th year, it provides you 64 days of teaching (internship) in primary and upper-primary classes.

Fees and Financial Aid

We don't get an internship with stipends. But campus will provide you with unpaid internships for your better experience and understanding. The campus also provides scholarships to those students who need them and do well in their academics. You also get placements after your final year.

Campus Life

There are a lot of groups, clubs, etc. run by students. For example - Navrang, help students, donate your books, etc. It will enhance your experience a lot. Every SPMties should join anyone of them. The campus also gives aerobics classes and certificates to all who participated at the end of the year.

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
