Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

Placement happens every year in my college, 98%, sometimes 80%, but the salary is not that good and we have to work more, due to which we are not able to meet our expenses properly, still some children are left out of helplessness

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College: A Prodigy to Become!

The DU admission process was completely through CUET and the CSAS portal, so we had to fill in our preferences and then wait for rounds to see where we got in. I got SBSC in an early round and locked it immediately because I didn’t want to take a risk of losing the seat. The process was mostly smooth online, but offline verification took a day.
