My college experience

Talking about its negative remakrs so the area in which my college is located is not at all safe and moreover unhealthy too. And infrastructure is also not appropriate and the duration of college is 9 to 4 which is very long. As aftr college hours it seems dt whole my day has gone in college only and one more thing that they didn't give holidays as they don't follow IPU calender

Exam structure is semester wise. As it's a 2 year Course so we have to appear for written as well as practical test in 3 semesters but in 3rd semester we have to go for teaching practices i.e. Preliminary School Engagement. And the course is good butt there is alott of unnecessary pressure.

There is no such placements and job opportunity in the college. Yesss my college provide internship, in 1st and 2nd semester it was for duration of 15days and 3rd sem is cmpltly internship based in schools. Acc. To internship is the most important part of b. Ed course as it gives exposure and made us think from a teacher's perspective. Butt it was so bad that they didn't provide stipend and not even a experience certificate too.

Fresher's Farewell Teacher's day Annual Day Independence Day Republic Day Guru pura Sports day National seminar conferences And there are other events also which they celebrated in the form of presentations.

Ummm. Quite expensive as in 2nd year the suddenlt increase ?5000 per head without any reason and there as such no facility in the college premises and to organise fresher's or farewell students itself had to be contributed

Ummm. I don't have much knowledge in this particular field but yes there might be some sort of scholarship for those students who belongs from minority like jainism, SC's/ST's etc. But being a general category I never availed it. And there is no loan facility in the college.

There is a computer lab in which maximum computers are not in a state of working, well accomodated library having not new updated eddition, psychology lab in which we never visited for the main purpose, there is a girls common room and boys common room, a multipurpose room which acts as a heart of the college!

There is no hostel in my college. As such there is no need of hostel facility because the overall campus of college is soo small. That only 200 students studies there. 100 for each 1st year and 2nd year as it is only a b. Ed college.

I am not in touch neither with amumni nor with senior/junior students. So can't say about it. Senior students were helpful when they came back from their PSE-3 so I interacted with many seniors just to know their experience and this made me mentally prepared that's it. From their experience I was able to prepare my own strategy.

It just i appeared for the B. ed entrance exam conducted by the GGSIPU and according to my rank i got the same college. Earlier I took admission in other college and then in spot counselling i got this one.

The non-teaching staff is not so appropriate except of few. Otherwise teaching staff especially regular teachers are amazing. Everyone has their own and unique style of teaching. They gives us ample of opportunity so that we can explose ourselves to the fullest and which is the bestest thing!!
