My course Computer Science Hons. fee is too high i.e. approx Rs. 27,000 per year which is really high as compared to other courses. Scholarship is provided on the basis of Family income criteria but that is too low. And not even enough to match with 1/3rd of my course fee. About 400 students getting this scholarship loans are not needed yet but if the fees is only like that it may rise to a situation to take loans.

Placement Experience

The college's placement cell started getting good companies for packages of INR 1,50,000 to 3,00,000 which is decent enough for fresh graduates. However not many students are interested in placements at DU colleges as they are either planning to persue higher education or are into professional courses. This was especially true for my course, B.com(H) as so many students from my batch were into CA/CS/CWA. Many others were preparing to persue M.COM or MBA. However not all students got placements & many who were desirous of working did search for jobs on their own.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hostel Facilities

Quality of food in canteen is not upto a good mark. Moreover there are very less number of items to choose from. Admission

College fee is very much affordable less than INR 10,000 per year scholarships available for economically weaker students as well as for toppers. Ghasi Ram Mittal Scholarship for Maths Hons. students worth INR 5000 awarded to year topper. INR 2000 fees for economically weaker students. Criteria annual income of family should be less than INR 300,000 bank loan facility also available.

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

After the introduction of CUET, the whole admission is online. So everything is easy and feasible at your doorstep. I belong from the batch of 2022. My batch has and is still going through each and every experiment of education system. Students of any stream can opt any course according to their cuet marks and subject eligibility criteria. For example: a science stream student (commerce/science) must give cuet exam with his/her 12th subject, and there will be deduction of only 1% per subject, if they want to change their stream. Yes , there are reservation benefits. There are seats for reservation categories. I found the preference list thingy very complicated.
