Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum suggests creating an inclusive learning environment with learning about diverse fields and gaining practical knowledge Although i have observed lack of relativity to reality . In my opinion giving practical life explosure would be helpful to learn the subjects more intensely and deeply .
Placement Experience
In my opinion, students of last year , i.e., sem 5&6 are eligible for placements There are various companies that come for on campus recruitment that include willis tower watson, axis bank, EY, GDS, etc In year 2023, there were 29 companies that visited. The highest package and average package include, 21.50 lpa and 7 lpa The placement rate stands at 38.19% I plan to pursue a certification, ACCA, for my career growth and for pursuing business in the near future
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees i paid was Rs 31000 and it was same for rest categories as well. Our college also provides scholarship which is based on 12th marks, 75% attendance in first semester or less than 4 lakh annual income per family . The cut off for sc st students is usually low than general category students
Campus Life
I think i am very satisfied with my experience in college, with the annual fest happening recently, Kalrav'25, it went on really great About infrastructure, there are lifts, well lit classrooms, and air conditioned classrooms There are also various clubs in the college including markonic, finS, src, edc, wdc, enactus, etc
Admission
I had given CUET (common entrance exam), upon whose score i got admission into this college according to ny preference sheet I had two options , Bcom h from DDUC, or Ba eco h from Ramjas College I went for DDUC since my interest inclined with commerce than economics core Coming to comparing my college with others, i think infrastructure wise our college is better than the on campus colleges
Faculty
In our college the faculty includes permanent as well as guest faculties. We have permanent teachers for subjects like company law and human resourse mgt for semester 2 . The exams structure include internal assessment , mid semester and final semester with continuous assessment. Our college follows course curriculum as prescribed by NEP( new education policy)
Night Life
There is a gym in the college , and cafetaria that provides snacks at at affordable rate The library is well air conditioned, with good seating, although the books are outdated, yet the faculty is arranging new edition books for the library Theres a indoor badminton court, and table tennis table which is constantly occupied by students There are Hostels on campus, with lifts and mess for food
