Remarks

I didn't appear for any entrance exam in 2021. I got admission based on the cut-off list and avail OBC quota. You can get All information regarding application dates, forms, and fees from the official website of Delhi University. But now we know that you can only get admission to any college of Delhi University by CUET exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Math's is my favorite subject and I also have a very keen interest in it and wanted to take it as a future. The teacher and student ratio are good as well. All the faculty members have great knowledge about the subject. Exams are taken frequently to keep up the pace.

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like Amazon, and Samsung provide job opportunities here giving a decent CTC to students applying. Projects are given to students to enhance their resumes and try to bag the best job they can get.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th sem (in the last year of their graduation degree), And I'll go for higher studies in the same field. (For master's degree) As there are not many options for a bachelor's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee per year is approximately 10k for a year which is quite affordable. Scholarships programs can be availed by students who are extraordinary in studies or belong to particular states (different for different scholarships). The college has also a placement cell providing job opportunities to the student.

Campus Life

The annual fest "Srijan" is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm by teachers and students. The 3-floor library has all the books that one can think of. Each student is asked to take part in sports, NCC, or NSS in their graduation. If the requirement Is not fulfilled, they might not even get their degree. There are different types of clubs or societies which are managed by students such as dance society, music society, poetry, etc.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
