The environment near the campus is quite safe and secure for the girls. The college has it's cultural fest called "Srijan". Students participate in various competitions held in the fest. Students can perform at the event. Student's from different states all across India are in college.
Hostel Facilities
The college does not offer any hostel facility; instead, students can choose the closest PG’s or rent an apartment close to college. 1. Students have to shift before the semester begins as it gives them time to settle down. Usually two or three students are required to share a bedroom but if not comfortable then they can ask for a separate single bedroom with all the facilities but prices would vary. The conditions of PG's are quite impressive as the owners provide all the facilities and safety to the students. 2. However, the PG’s have facilities like separate sharing bedrooms and three separate beds, study table, an air conditioner and an Almira. The Prices would vary if students can ask for single rooms. The PG’s also have a common living room space with television, music systems etc for the entertainment purpose. The students get freshly home cooked meals three times a day and special birthday celebrations. 3. PG's are only for girls, they have strict rules and regulations. Before 10 p.m, every student needs to be in the PG's and must follow these rules. 4. There are PG's facilities around the campus so parents or siblings can visit but can’t stay overnight since students share rooms. Parents can stay in nearby hotels. Furthermore if any student lives in a rented apartment then it is quite convenient for the family members to stay. 5. The PG’s and apartments are located near the campus. It normally takes 5 minutes of walking to reach the specific destination. P.S. I don't have any pictures and the form isn't moving forward if i don't submit any picture.
Exam Structure
I received 80% in my 12th grade, which made me eligible for admission to SPMC during the third cutoff list in 2020. Currently, Delhi University administers the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) to various courses at participating Central Universities and gives candidates a single window chance to seek admission in these participating Universities / Institutes across the nation. My admission to Shyama Prasad Mukerji College was entirely based on Merit, i.e., on the basis of my 12th standard percentage marks during 2020. Previous to this, Delhi University would provide a cutoff list based on the merit score.
