Likes

The canteen gotta be my most favourite because of affordability and taste
It's very peaceful and the environment is good with big grounds and many other areas for the students
The professors are very good with their teaching methods

Dislikes

There isn't enough space in class for everyone to be comfortable
The fans aren't enough it's really hot because of the large amount of students
There isn't proper management for the students

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm from the commerce background so that's why I choosed bcom hons to gain knowledge in this area so im future it can help me with my career field the frequency is good considering us sol students and difficulty level can only be determined after my sem 1

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 8670 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 8770 approx for my sem 1 bcom hons registration fees was around 300-400 there isn't any other fees cause I'm doing it from sol...and no other benefits are provided for obvious reasons the fees for my other batchmate is also the same

Campus Life

Overall campus experience is good... campus is nice with humble batchmate altho technology can be more improved with better infrastructure facilities but it's still nice with all the necessary things which are needed

Admission

I didn't particularly choose this clg but rather it was assigned to me and I do think it's pretty decent considering that... The admission process as well was quite easy and overall experience of admission was good

Faculty

Around 500-600 students with 20-30 staff members because of the sol I'll suppose and some of them are approachable and our exam are scheduled for January and it's my first sem it's not easy to tell the difficulty level

A decent truthful facts.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills.Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first,earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Placements are quite well . Most of the students are placed with the average package of 4-5 LPA . Companies like KPMG , Deloitte, Pwc and many more come to college and offer students. And with the time the placement cell of the college also conduct an event regarding placement and intership which approaches around 200-250 companies to come and give an opportunity to our students.

WHY SHOULD OPT FOR DU COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
