What Students Say

Likes

I liked how there are students from all over india
Sports as well as extracurricular opportunities such as societies are good in the college
Faculties are helpful and always ready to serve

Dislikes

The lab conditions are worst and the lab assistants are arrogant (all of them)
The classroom condition is average and also there is no air conditioner
College campus is big but it's totally mismanaged

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for chemistry which I like overall the teaching methods are basic and the course is mediocre there are no real world applications and also the labs last for 4 hours. Labs got no seating arrangement and fans so it's a bad thing imo

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good and are mainly provided under delhi university. I don't really take part in Internships but I have an idea about the pay. They pay good and provide experience and help for the future.

Placement Experience

Placements are not offered too much. My plans after the graduation are that I have to take admission somewhere better than here and start my redemption arc also there are chances in politics if you opt for dusu elections in college

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the course is ?20000 per annum. Scholarship opportunities are only limited to financially unstable students and overall the affordability of the course is good as compared to other universities.

Campus Life

Annual fests are nice also the guests invited are relevant. Library is the best thing in this college. No fancy facilities are provided it's a normal government college. Sports department is nice and can get you somewhere. Societies and clubs work effortlessly.

Admission

I chose this college by mistake because my preference list was bad I could have opted for a better college if I would have done some research. I regret taking admission here and advise people not to waste time here instead otp for better colleges

Faculty

All faculties apart from the lab assistance are nice and helpful chemistry department Faculties are good but mathematics department is a bit bad. Exams take place semester wise and the exams are not that difficult. Library is well maintained and peaceful to study.

Night Life

Cafeteria food is worst. Only packed food is edible hostels are not provide by the college campus closes 5:30 pm locality is not that good but there are some famous places nearby to explore and have fun

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
