College has very good environment with all facilities
Professors are helping and supportive with all of them
There are college societies for students to develop their hobbies, interest

Dislikes

Only girls college so there is little fun
Canteen has very few varieties of food and little bit out of pocket
Classes may be hectic and workload is lot for students

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is good but can be better in terms of teaching quality, professors can elaborate more clearly and make notes about the taught topic There are total 6 semesters in 3 year means 2 semester per year , every semester have exams , practical and internals

Fees and Financial Aid

I took admission in Gargi college this year (2024) The college fee is very affordable, costs 18600 per year that is pocket friendly, every batchmate has same amount of fee charged by college, there is some specific quota to get admission more easily but not the scholarship.

Campus Life

Gargi college campus has beautiful and gigantic campus , cleanliness is maintained and one can feel so fresh and calm due to greenery, college have many societies and clubs , which is great for developing skills , cricket, football teams are also there.

Admission

I choose Gargi college because this college is known for best science faculty and the infrastructure is very good, one can develop so many skills and it has many good career option Gargi college organises many fests , parties and competitions for students.

Faculty

Facilities are very educated and supportive, they can guide you to all the career options available in your course, courses are different according to respective fields like BSC, bcom,ba There is 2-3 teachers in a lab of 70 students , Reema ma'am, Gravita ma'am, are few other are best teacher of botany, there are practical exams , theory exams , viva , internals, final exams semester wise Exams are quite medium tough

Night Life

Gargi college lies in between residential area, there are bungalows and buildings around it, just opposite to gargi college is digging cafe , flower shop and besides this is other college kamla Nehru College Gargi has no hostel and campus timing is from 8:30am to 6:00 pm variably

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is very nice and mostly acceptable in big multinational companies and firms. The whole world is moving towards AI and computers. So jobs in this field are high. And I also had a good interest in computers. That's why I chose this course.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

My tale of andc

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have pcm in 12 th and in also subjects i am best in chemistry so that's why I choosed it . And andc is mostly a science course college it has mostly science courses only . It has good labs facility most necessary for my course. We have exams per semester only which are average not much hard or easy .

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
