Remarks

The admission process is not quite difficult. Firstly, you have to give an entrance exam CET (Common Entrance Exam). After that you can apply in the college through online mode. When the cut-off lists come. Don't forget to check them on time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are very polite and humble with everyone. Even not of my department, other departments too. Rest another staff is also very co-operative. The canteen staff, security staff everyone is very humble.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship for the b.el.ed program is like you will enjoy it a lot. In the first year, you will go for 10 days of teaching, SCP (School Contact Program). In the 3rd year, you will go for 1 month of teaching Block Teaching. In the fourth year, you will get an internship.

Placement Experience

Placements come in the fourth year, before the exams. And after the interview, if you are eligible according to their criteria. You will get the job. But for that, your content should be great, and your knowledge and marks should be enough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure varies year to year. I paid 15k (approx) in the first year, 17k (approx) in the second year, and 16k (approx) in the third year, and this year's fee notice doesn't come yet. But colleges also provide scholarship schemes.

Campus Life

If I talk about infrastructure, it's very good except for other colleges I have seen. College also provides a lot of sports activities. It also conducts a lot of extra curriculum activities. Like Navrang, Book donations, in which you can take part.

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
