I chose physics because I am interested in studying physics and it is my favorite subject. The physics faculty in our college is pretty good that's why I chose this college to begin with and the student ratio is around 8:1. Almost every teacher has done PhD in physics and has good teaching methods. We have to take the exam every three months and every time a chapter is completed.

I chose this course since the field of physics was a growing field with a lot of scope in the future and I also had a lot of interest in the subject. The faculty were extremely qualified with all of them being PhD holders. The faculty: student ratio was 1:45 since we were all in the same class. The best part of the course was the practical lessons that we had. The pedagogy involved notes, presentations, projects and experiments. The semester exams had a fixed timeline and were always taken according to the mentioned schedule. They included both theoretical and practical examinations. I would say that the difficulty level of these exams was moderate to difficult. If one had focused on the lectures and done some self-study then it would be possible for them to pass. Last-minute study really did not work here.
Firstly, I was very fond of physics, I love it. It excites me. Then the career options it provides were also good like I can pursue Msc after this course or I can opt for any Government jobs or I can join any research field, etc. The student ratio is 1:1 generally but in our course, there are more than boys. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. They will help you in many ways other than your studies. The teaching culture is just like all the colleges preferred and there is no spoon-feeding here, you have to work extra to get something. The academic calendar is well defined and students are well aware of when the exams will be held. The level of difficulty of an exam can't be measured, sometimes it is very tough sometimes it is average.
The course curriculum of B.Sc. (hons.) Physics is well balanced. I chose this course as I was particularly interested in studying physics. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60. This is quite good as each student get a good amount of attention from the faculty. All the faculty members have done Ph.D., have done lots of research papers and are highly qualified. The teaching method is engaging and wholesome. We are provided with notes FAQs etc. The term exams this year were a bit late. The level of difficulty of term exams was moderate to hard.
I had a keen interest to learn more and explore more in the field of physics that became a reason for me doing my bachelors in physics. Professors here in the college are very friendly and cooperative that itself creates a homely environment inside the college.
The Fee structure is very feasible as delhi university is a government college, it is being run under the state government so the fees is very less compared to private colleges. The fees for my course was around Rs 20,000 yearly along with Rs 1410 examination fee per semester. Overall it's not very expensive
My college fee is less than the other college in the University of Delhi. My course(BSc Hons physics) fee is 13000 per year. Science subjects have more fees than the art and commerce subjects because of the practical lab. My total fee in the first year includes other expenses is 13000.
