Course Details

Mata Sundri College for Women offers UG program in full time mode for 3 years. BA, B.Com, B.Sc and B. Elementary Education, in general and Honours mode, is offered to Candidates. Candidates will have to participate through the DU UG admission process by registering at its official website.

Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in 10+2 level is mandatory for getting admission into MSCW. Selection will be done on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.

Cut-offs will be put up in the portal, accordingly candidates can choose the courses based on that.
Upon intimated regarding the selection status, Candidate will have to get their original documents with a set of photocopies to the college for verification
Selection will be done completely on the basis of 12th examination marks. List of selected candidates will be put up at the college notice board and at the website portal.
Payment of the admission fees has to be done and the seat is to be secured confirming the admission.

Selection Criteria for MSCW UG Courses

Candidate must check for the cut - offs of each college through the same website and follow the process given below :
Candidate has to first register through the DU online portal.
Candidates must check for the cut-offs through the same portal for the college website.
Candidate has to login to the admission portal using the credentials created during registrations and apply for the interested courses/programs based on his/her score and the cut-offs.
Candidates must take a print out of the application form along with marks sheet of 10th,11th and 12th,character certificate issued by the latest institute studied in,2 attested photos and SC/ST/PwD certificates(if available) for verification from the college.
The college will retain the original documents till the admission process. Then the confirmation of the seat will be announced through the portal.
If Candidate wishes to join another college, the college will promptly return the documents.
The approved students must pay the admission fees online within the next day.

Since MSCW comes under Delhi University, for which the admissions is completely based on 10+2 scores, candidates must register online on the DU portal. Click here for direct link.

The information regarding Candidate's 10+2 passing year,roll number,school code etc will be asked , and Candidate must fill the same as per the 10+2 marks sheet only.
Other personal information like name,contact number, email ID etc will be asked.

Mostly internships gave by NGOs and social clubs so there is no salary for internships.

The crowd was pretty decent, for some courses very good too
Teaching and faculty was good too, i used to get the concepts easily

Dislikes

Canteen, the food of canteen can be improved
Opportunities for exposure should be more

The curriculum was good. I chose this course because i wanted to pursue bcom, areas of improvement can include more practical exposure as i felt it is very very less. The frequency and timings of exams was easily manageable

Honest review for the college Mata Sundari , delhi University

Likes

The infrastructure of college is quite good and spacious. Auditorium is of great size and canteen is also big and spacious.
Library of the college is very peaceful and clean. All the washrooms are neat and clean.

Dislikes

Campus doesn't have ground where you can hangout with friends.
Canteen's food is quite expensive and there are less options.

My course have theoretical as well as practical subjects which makes it more suitable for my further academic pursuits. The course provides you whole knowledge about various fields which are relevant if you pursue master in business or finance . There are two additional subjects beside our core subjects which will help us in different places like while giving interviews , etc.

Overall a Great College for Girls, But Campus is a bit Small

Likes

One of the best canteen among DU colleges, really spacious and so much variety of food.
Students are all very friendly, makes you feel at home, no unnecessary bullying or anything.

Dislikes

Very less Club and Committes like there is no Fashion Society, no book club rtv.
Less interactions with other colleges as not allowed in fests

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom Program from this college is one of the best as all the teachers religiously follow the curriculum guidelines as set up by Delhi University. You get to choose your electives as per your interests,but there are compulsory subjects like Financial accounting, Human Resource Management Englishe etc. Your electives help you in knowing more about the field you would like to pursue a career in. Grading is done on basis of both examinations and assignments. The teachers guide students whenever needed, really friendly professors.

Mata sundri college for Women review

Likes

Some things in the canteen like brownie and milkshakes etc. Rajma chawal is a must
Campus is neat and clean always, no littering and proper cleaning

Dislikes

Canteen food was ok at first but slowly quality has been reduced
Washrooms are the dirtiest. But teachers' one is always clean.

I have studied commerce in 12th class and i am from a commerce background as well so i chose this course. It is a good course if u want knowledge about commerce and finance and accounting etc. Accounts has always been a tough subject for me but the case is not always the same for all.

I like the cafeteria but the prices are quite high as compare to the campus colleges of DU.
All the books are available mostly in our library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I think it is a good one for me as I am from a commerce background. Some faculties are excellent but some of the faculties are not even bothered to tell us whether they are coming for the class or taking a leave. Some teachers put a lot of effort into teaching the students and I love this as in the college it is not common. Qualifications of all the teachers are up to the mark but the teaching styles vary, some are not understandable to us and some teach excellently. Term exams were conducted every semester after 6 months in between their internal assignments and tests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have to do this one. In my section, there were 80 students. The teachers were very helpful. The teaching methods were good. Passing the exam for the degree is quite difficult. Teachers use to give assignment and takes the test.

Worth experiencing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue MBA which is why I thought that this program would align with my future goals. Faculty is nice and decent. A lot of professors from our college have published various research papers and have received a lot of awards. Many of them are PhD holders and have completed their education from foreign. The exams are held timely as given in the timetable which is released and you need to study to pass.
