Course Curriculum Overview

  • Class size: The class size is around 70 students, but only 25-30 are regular attendees.
  • Girls’ culturally diverse college; lots of them are not native Delhites (Jammu, Ladakh, Punjab, UP, Bihar, West Bengal).
  • Peer group is collaborative, and students are solving presentations and assignments together.
  • A combination of extroverts and introverts; involvement does not directly affect marks.
  • Behaviour towards attendance is different: some attend with honest intentions, some bunk, and others are concerned only with attendance marks.

Internship Opportunities

  • There is a 100% placement rate in internships, but a great number of students still find them.
  • Internships are handled by students through LinkedIn, Internshala, etc.
  • Stipend scale: lowest INR 3,000 - INR 4,000, average INR 8,000, highest INR 21,000.
  • The companies have recruited more than 40+ companies, including Deloitte, KPMG, Kraftshala, and Accenture.
  • Deloitte has been observed to recruit more students than other companies.

MSWC Application Process 2025

The complete MSWC Application Process 2025 is mentioned below:

1. Notices of Check Admission and Prospectus.

  • Visit the MSCW official website for admission information for 2025-2026.
  • Get the prospectus with specifications: course schedule, registration capacity, fee pattern, minority specifications and registration policies.

  • When you are applying under the Sikh minority category, you can obtain the minority certificate at the office of DSGMC, at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib or you can apply online through the DSGMC portal.

3. Appearing in CUET

  • In the case of the majority of UG admissions, MSCW refers to CUET (UG) 2025 scores.
  • For PG courses, CUET (PG) is used.
  • Introduction of Preference Filling and Registration to the DU CSAS Portal.
  • Following CUET results, the candidates are required to enrol themselves on the portal, which is known as DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and place MSCW on the list of preferred colleges and courses.
  • Add necessary information such as personal, academic and category information.

4. Cut-off Lists, Multiple Rounds of Seat Allotment.

  • MSCW releases cut-off lists in batches; first cut-off, second, etc. Cut-offs are the basis on which admission offers are made, preferences, category and CUET score of candidates.
  • Some courses, like vocational / certificate / foreign language courses, have particular cut-offs and registration dates.

5. Document Checking and Fee Payment.

  • After the allotment of a seat, students will be required to counter-check physical documents according to the schedule.
  • Once verified, make payment of admission/course fees to secure a seat.

6. Other Courses and Certificate /Diploma admissions.

  • In the case of certificate/diploma/foreign language courses (e.g. German, French, Spanish), applicants are required to be eligible (such as 10 + 2 aggregate), complete online applications and a minor fee is required (such as 200).
  • These are usually merit-based (class XII marks) and cut-off lists.

7. Reservation and Category Requirement.

  • MSCW adheres to the rules of the reservation of SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwBD, etc. at the University.
  • Single girl child, minority applicants, etc, have their guidelines as well.

CUET is a top level entrance and DU too a top level university and most colleges under it are among the top. I also wanted the best women's college of DU and that is LSR but with a score of 430 out of 800, only a few colleges were available and Mata Sundari was one of those. However, since I got the desired cpirs I took admission here otherwise I had confirmed admission at SXC Kolkata.

Nirf ranking was one of the consideration for choosing this college. The admission process of the college depend upon CUET scores and the cutoffs for particular college. Based on your scores and preference list and cutoffs, you get admission to the college. Every college issue different cutoffs, if your scores match their cutoff then you are eligible for that particular college.

Honestly I wasn't sure about taking admission into this college infact i never intended to... The CUET and CSAS process was very convenient for students outside Delhi but things were still not clear about different colleges... what I noticed was the campus problem students thought their colleges was either in north or south so made the preference list accordingly got accepted and later realised that they have been fooled by the information they gained from the internet..

This college was in 47 th preference. In the first slot I got motilal nehru College but in evening shift. so, I decided to upgrade and in the second round I got this, I thought it will improve in further rounds as well so, I tried upgrading it, but it didn't changed and then eventually I had to accept it. The process was smooth and it was online through college councelling entirely. But after one month in college, we were asked to bring our original documents in college for physical verification.

Honestly, MSCW was not in my preference list in first place. Due to average CUET Normalised Score, I couldn't make it to North or south campus colleges. Admin was calm and supportive during my admission. You need to give CUET to get an admission here in any course. Cutoff is moderate.

Admission:

When I got admission in college, cuet was just introduced a year back and nobody had clarity about exam patterns and what to study specifically. I got a score somewhere around 632/800 due to normalisation because some of my exams were really easy and i performed well but again in normalisation if your exam is easy you'll definitely loose marks . That's why my score decreased. And on the top of it , I filled my preference list without even searching about all the colleges and formed a typical list which had no relation with my marks . To be honest mata sundri college was never my choice . But I had to take it because I putted all the potential colleges below it .
