Rate of canteen food are okay or reasonable . They need to improve quality
Transport facility around college is good.

Dislikes

The college campus is really too small .
Their is no garden or ground in college .
Teachers are not so supportive and they don't provide any info related placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had enrolled in this course because of my further future studies. We didn't get any practical knowledge about the course. We can't able to Bound our attention in the class because of its boringness.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for first year is around 18.5k , the fees for 2nd year is around 19.5k and the fees for 3rd year is around 17.5k . The exam fees are extra taken every semester. If you want to enroll in other activities then the fees will be taken separately.

Campus Life

We get the notification of fests at the very last moment. Their is very lesser excitement and engagement among fests. Library facilities are overall good . Classrooms are without AC, it's difficult during summers time. Their is no ground so sports facilities are also so poor.their are many clubs .

Admission

I had choosed this college because it's the girls college and in the good area . So we don't have to worry about anything related safety issue .I got the seat in second cut off . The cutoff of this college is really high. And they give seats to Sikh minorities students also.

Faculty

The teachers are in good ratio . But they told soo much leave at the end moment. Many Times we reach the college and then we get the notification of class cancellation. Admin department is also very slow in work .

Things you should know about Mata sundri college, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

Truly great experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Choose bcom program and it a good choice for me. Commerce department is very helpful and supportive. Teacher are very helpful and kind to every student. Time table needs to change because class starts from 8:40am and ends 5:00pm . This needs big change

Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

College life as a fresher

In order to get into any college of DU, you are supposed to give CUET exam, the score of your CUET exam determines your admission into any college. My dream college was Indraprastha college for women because I wanted to have a minor degree in geography and IPCW is well- reputed for its geography department. My score was 826 out of 1000 and the IPCW cut off for general category was around 750 due to which I couldn't get an admission into that college. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with this college. Life at Mata Sundari college for women.

So i first scored 647/1000 in CUET exam. In Du colleges the cutoff for B.com hons for general category goes really high. Mata sundari overall is a good college. It is located in a very safe place. The fact that i do classical dance also, mata sundari as a college gives me various Competition opportunities.
