MSCW, DU honest review

This college was in 47 th preference. In the first slot I got motilal nehru College but in evening shift. so, I decided to upgrade and in the second round I got this, I thought it will improve in further rounds as well so, I tried upgrading it, but it didn't changed and then eventually I had to accept it. When I got admission in college, cuet was just introduced a year back and nobody had clarity about exam patterns and what to study specifically. I got a score somewhere around 632/800 due to normalisation because some of my exams were really easy and i performed well but again in normalisation if your exam is easy you'll definitely loose marks . That's why my score decreased. And on the top of it , I filled my preference list without even searching about all the colleges and formed a typical list which had no relation with my marks . I did not wanted this college but got it due to my low cuet score. This college was down in my preference list but when I got some really good friends I started liking this college and enjoyed coming here. To get admission in this college you need to score average in cuet but if you want bcom or bcom h and other prefereed courses you need to score more than average. In our college sikh quota is also there for minority students. A student who has 500 score in cuet out of 800 can get admission in this college....Read More

I applied for all colleges of DU but I wanted the one which is more easily accessible through metro and not too far from my home. The admission is done with the help of CUET score after Registering on DU CSAS portal and then in later stages of register filling the preference list. except dU, i had also applied to MDU. the admission process for both the colleges was quite different. as , for MDU the only criteria for admission was the result( percentage) in the 12th board exams. where as the, for the DU we had to take an entrance exam (CUET) . even after this . we had to separately register at DU portal. and after this admissions were accepted on the basis of CUET score. multiple list were announced. and after 4 list. for all the seats which were left a mop up round was arranged. i choose DU over MDU as DU provided better opportunities....Read More
