Likes

Some things in the canteen like brownie and milkshakes etc. Rajma chawal is a must
Campus is neat and clean always, no littering and proper cleaning
Faculty is friendly and reliable , top floor classrooms are Ac equipped.

Dislikes

Canteen food was ok at first but slowly quality has been reduced
Washrooms are the dirtiest. But teachers' one is always clean.
Campus size is not that big to roam around

Course Curriculum Overview

I have studied commerce in 12th class and i am from a commerce background as well so i chose this course. It is a good course if u want knowledge about commerce and finance and accounting etc. Accounts has always been a tough subject for me but the case is not always the same for all.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 24750 per year

Internships Opportunities

Wipro, flipkart, etc are some companies tgat hire students from our college every year. If u want to go for placement then u can apply for the same and give interview too. Average salary offered is 2LPA for bcom programme. I would not recommend to go for such low salary package. Instead u can opt for higher studies, to get a high paying job.

Placement Experience

3rd year students are offered placements by companies like wipro, flipkart, etc. If u wanna go ahead , u can apply. Average salary is 2lakh per annum. 85% students get placed every year. I wont opt for placement bcoz i will pursue an Mba.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for 3yrs for bcom programme is 24750. Scholarships are also provided. Placements are provided to 3rd year students by companies like wipro, flipkart etc. Average salary is 2lakh per annum.

Campus Life

The annual fest SAARANG is held every year and one celebrity is invited to perform in the fest every year. This year gurnam bhullar was invited and mostly singers are called to perform in the concerts. Many competitions are held at the fest like rangoli making, western n classical dance, nukkad natak, open mic , flashmob (my fav part) and a lot more. Library has a great variety of books and is air conditioned. Auditorium has a seating capacity of 500 and is air conditioned too. Classrooms are fine and only the classes on the 4th (top) floor have ac. Campus is not too big for roaming. Many societies are there like bhangra, environmental, music, commerce etc. And u can opt for any of these.

Admission

U should atleast score 60% in board exams of class 12 to be eligible. U have to pass CUET and score the minimum rank and can apply on DU website and all formalities will be through the website only. Then u have to apply for counselling and make a list of ur preferences. U will be allotted with the college if u have scored the minimum rank required. Sc/st/sikhs have reservation. Exams are conducted by DU in nov-dec and may.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

MSCW is Magical!

CUET is a top level entrance and DU too a top level university and most colleges under it are among the top. I also wanted the best women's college of DU and that is LSR but with a score of 430 out of 800, only a few colleges were available and Mata Sundari was one of those. Honest MSCW review

Honestly I wasn't sure about taking admission into this college infact i never intended to...
