VIIT Pune is Best in Class!!

Likes

Since VIIT is subsidized by government the fees is very affordable of VIIT.
The number of engineers who have been churned at our college is too good to be true.
Excellent professors makes our college one of the most prominent one.

Dislikes

Curfew rules are very stringent for girls in our college.

CET is the way to get admission here and I was getting admission in PICT as well. So I had confirmation from there but VIIT is an old pedigree and therefore a percentile of 99 made it possible for me to opt for this college.

Honest Review on VIT, Pune

Likes

The environment in the college is very good, especially during the fests as the clubs entertain us throughout the events
The way of teaching, problem solving skills of teachers are also pretty impressive
Canteen food is also pretty good and descent. The infrastructure and management of the college is also good

Dislikes

There is more number of companies with less package compared to the number of companies offering more than 10-12 LPA.

Admission:

Except for VIT, Pune, I had applied to colleges like PCCOE, PICT and etc colleges located in Pune itself. My JEE rank was around 77000 or 91.12 percentile and my CET percentile was 96.4, so I couldnt get into PICT. Even if i wanetd to get into PICT, i was getting the EnTC branch, which i didnt want. The admission process included firstly of CAP round followed by SPOT round. The cutoff for various branches depends on the CET and JEE Merit rank/percentile that you have got and on the basis of that youll get the branches in CAP or SPOT round.

Commerce degree at VCACS

Likes

The size of the campus/college. Especially the huge parking space.
There are several departments within the whole campus.
Great infrastructure for the classrooms. Sports facilities also provided.

Dislikes

The timing of classes is quite early in the morning.
Limited optional subjects to choose from for 2nd and 3rd year.
The office staff can sometimes prove to be quite mean.

Admission:

I did applied for Symbiosis but was my application was rejected. The reason remains unbeknownst to me as the email didn't specify it. Admission process in Vishwakarma College was quite simple and easy. I choose this college as it was near to my residence and the college had and still continue to have a good reputation. As for cuttof, for B. Com there are no specifications at the time i took the admission.

Curriculum has projects and assignment more than theory
Internship and placement giving companies are high
Teachers and seniors are supportive to students

Dislikes

Campus is so small and also crowd is high
Hostel cost is high and not in good condition.
Area is not good and exams are online so.

Our college has unique curriculum than others we have projects more than theory but others have high theory and placement is also good than others and there are companies nearly. Which can give placement or internship .

There is no entrance exam. The overall admission experience was smooth, and the college communicated promptly throughout the process

See the things i like is the night life of vit pune it has greenery a calm nature
Also the events the events are very good the main events are good as well as the crowd is great
Also i liked that the library it has a big library that has good amount of books that u need

Dislikes

I disliked the placement stats of the current yewr it was less than the other colleges in pune like i am considering the top colleges
The thing that i dislike is some subjects that are not related to my field at all they are being taught
Also the last thing is small campus whether it is small great but still it must have been greater

I like the coding culture of this college as well as how the curriculum is on the coding and how they teachers teach us coding
I like how does seniors are respectful to the junior as well as they give advice to us about interview
I like the club culture of the VIT Pune as it consist of 52 different clubs where you can obtain and learn different things like spons such a coordinator at the entire events as mentioned by all this love so it is a new experience also will unfilled

Dislikes

The thing I didn't like about the college is that it increased in 4000 F5 students so there will be a lot of competition and the area is small the campus life is short
As i mentioned before you to the the intake of this college is increased hence placement may decrease the average package was 700000 but now it can be decrease so it is the factor that is affecting me
Last thing that is affecting me is that this college is placed in an area that has slum so it may affect some people that may don't like Slum areas

Admission:

I got admission in this college through CET cap rounds so I opt for many different colleges in Pune as VIT college the third best college after pict and coep but due to their High cutoff of VIT Pune has high cutoff of but comparatively to pict and Coep it has lesser cutoff . There are no rejections in CET cap rounds there are just married based admissions so the colleges that have my cutoff I will opt in that colleges only I got admission with 98.4% tell in ai ml as a general category student.

The coding culture of this college is very very good
The seniors are very supportive and helps in everything that junior wants
There are many clubs in this college which focus on different domains like drone ,dance, music ,investment etc

Dislikes

This year the intake of this college is too high .
The campus size is very small as compared to other colleges
Canteen food is not that good and no various options available in canteen.

Admission:

The main highlight that the college is autonomous and the students are free to do anything whatever they want other colleges don't promote for publications and patents of their research papers but our college does.

Faculty Expertise and Teaching Methods : VIT Pune boasts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members, many of whom are graduates from reputed institutes like IITs.
Placement Services and Career Support : The institute has a strong record , especially in branches like Computer Science and Information Technology.
Infrastructure and Learning Facilities : VIT Pune offers state of the art laboratories , a well stocked library, and campus wide Wifi. The classrooms are air conditioned and equipped with modern teaching aids.

Dislikes

Gender Ratio : The girls to boys ratio at VIT Pune is relatively low, with some departments having a significant gender imbalance.
Sports and Recreational Facilities : While the institute has a sports complex, some students feels not much good and happy.
Hostel and Mess Facilities : The hostel rooms are decent, but there have been complaints about the quality of food in the mess and the hygiene standards.

Admission:

I choose VIT Pune for its strong placements and curriculum. I also applied to COEP and PICT but missed the cutoff. VIT accepts MHT-CET/ JEE scores; I got in via MHT-CET . The admission process was smooth through centralized DTE counselling . Cutoffs are high for Computer Science and Information Technology branches.
