Among these, VIT Pune is the best option for Mechanical Engineering. VIT Pune Mechanical branch is more than 20 years old. So, it had better exposure. This helps in better industry recognition, tie-ups. VIT offers better placements for the Mechanical branch. It offers more core placements compared to VIIT and MIT. It has better campus facilities and a more diverse curriculum than other institutes. VIIT also has a decent infrastructure followed by VIT. Academics : All the aforementioned institutes have a well-updated curriculum mainly because they are autonomous. The faculty pool in general is of similar quality and you will have to depend on self-study more or less everywhere you go. Diversity : MIT has a more diverse student pool and you will get to interact with people coming from different states. Based on the crowd diversity, the preference order would be MIT> VIT> VIIT Practical exposure : VIT offers the best practical exposure because its Mechanical Engineering program is the oldest among the aforementioned institutes. VIIT and MIT ME branch is new so the exposure offered is very limited. In fact, these students are taken to VIT for exposure. Talking about fees structure, Fees for Open Category at VIT Pune is 1,90,000. But as I come under OBC Category I pay 1,10,000 per year. My friends who come under VJ/VT Category pays 30,000 per year and SC Category pays 5000 per year. As I come in OBC Category I will provide Breakdown of fees for OBC: Tution fees: 81,304/- Development fees: 24,392/- Examination fees: 2000/- Miscellaneous University Fees: 2,354/- Total fees: 1,10,000/- Note: Similar breakdown applies to other Category with different fee amounts. Talking about of Scholarship & Financial Aid details our college provides various programs some of them are: 1] Merit-Cum-Need Scholarship: Amount varies based on Financial condition. They offer various prohects to make the students future-proof. The syllabus is very much relevant. The faculty is very experienced and are of great help

The fee structure for people admitted through ACAP round is 1,92,945 rupees per year. People belonging to SC/ST categories pay 6000 per year while, people from OBC category pay 30000 per year. Cummins, Reliance, Annabhau Sathe Foundation also offer scholarships upto 2 Lakhs for students. Management quota students pay 1,92,945 rupees per year on top of the fee they paid for the seat.

VIT : The Undiscovered Truth

The yearly fees for a open/ general candidate is around 1 lakh 93 thousand. In which the tution fees is close to 1 lakh 62 thousand. The fees are varied for various categories for OBC/EBC/EWS/SEBC category students the yearly fees is 1.11 lakh. FOR VJ/DT/NT/SBC it's 30 thousand and for SC/ST it's around 6000. For PWD/Orphan it's 29 thousand and as there is special quota for J and K students their fees is also 30 thousand. There are various scholarships available for students, the all are available on the Maha dbt website, the scholarship are available according to your category For open candidate having annually incomes less than 8 lakh there a scholarship call EBC in which half of the tution fees (close to 81 thousand) is paid by government. There many other scholarship provided by college it self some are khusboo , etc. You can also apply for private scholarship such as reliance , tata pankh, hdfc scholarship.

Total Fees for the the cource of B-Tech is 168000 early which includes tution fees examination fees library fees miscellaneous fees. Fees need to paid at the start of the academic year . All government scholarship is provided by the college

Vishwakarma institute of technology mechanical engineering review

The course has been involved with a lot of projects nearly 5 project per semester which helps you with increasing your industry knowledge

The yearly fess of the college ranges from 2 lakhs to 25k depending on your caste category reserved seats and the score of your jee and mht cet exam. There's been different provisions and quota for J&K students.The scholarship are provided by government on the basis of which kind of seat are you going to get in the college.

As a autonomous college,there is so easy exams and in first year we have online exams

The college fees are 200000. Yeah It's true that fees of college is high but if you come with reservation you can get 50% off on fee and for TFWS the fees are 30000 only . For OBC and EWS it is 1,11,000.

Project based learning, friendly faculty, every process is fast, multi disciplinary courses which includes coding robotics and electronics in every branch, a very structured syllabus, minimum 3 projects per semester, one purely project based subject

The fees structure is depended on caste, general category has to pay full 192k fees and it reduces as per your caste. TFWS ( Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme ) is available for limited no. of students in which the is significantly less and is available for GEN & GEN-EWS students. Various scholarships are provided to students by government and clubs from college and total education cost per year for a GEN student is around 350k

Student Life at VIT Pune: Covering technicalities, extracurriculars and placements

Many non - technical subjects like psychology are taught in the first year
They also encourage patenting and publishing of project research papers in international conferences and journals
It prioritises practical knowledge over theory by giving 5 projects each semester for better understanding of subjects and also judges students on theoretical & practical knowledge along with presentation and communication skills by assigning PPTs

The fee structure is different for students according to their economic and family background. Placement drives start early in the third year and many companies visit the college for recruiting. The companies cover a large range of industries and fields from computer science, artificial intelligence to mechanical and electronics.

A comprehensive review to shape your future

There are many scholarships available for reservation students, for them the fees is affordable but for open category students the fees feels too much, it's actually a huge amount. In my opinion they should increase the number of scholarships and also provide them based on the marks of the previous year.
