AI-Generated Summary based on 45 Reviews

Hindu College offers a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) [Hons.] program where admissions rely on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Prospective students need to have completed their 12th with subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and English as part of the eligibility criteria. CUET requires candidates to select a minimum of one language from List A and three domains from List B, including key subjects like Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, and Mathematics.

A robust CUET score, typically 750+ for the general category, is essential for admissions, with variances for reserved categories. The entrance process includes filling preferences through the CSAS portal of Delhi University, with no requirement for group discussions or personal interviews. The entire process, from application to allotment, is conducted online to facilitate convenience. The CUET encompasses the syllabus from Class 11 and 12, with a focus on MCQs. Preparations should include previous years' papers.

The application fee differs by category, generally set at INR 1500. Admission is strictly through CUET, with no direct or management quota available. According to past applicants, server upgrades for better online accessibility during peak times are recommended.

I got into IIM Rohtak as well but i chose Hindu College over it because the fee for iim was really high and there were a lot of other compulsory charges that made it even more high, almost un-affordable. And the return on investment was not as good so i did not think it was value for money. Whereas, hindu college has a really minimal fee and a really amazing infrastructure, facilities, curriculum and faculty which made it more value for money for me. The admission process for IIM rohtak includes an aptitude test round, subjects in the test are quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and english. Then the shortlisted students appear for an interview round after which final admissions are announced. For Hindu College, we have to appear for a written exam only which is CUET conducted by NTA. There is no other round.

Wards and sports quota is also here, which really make the difference. I put SRCC, St. Stephen's over Hindu but my score was lower than those.
