XLRI’s Short-Term Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) Programmes enable working professionals to upskill without pausing their careers. Classes are delivered through live, interactive online sessions. These programmes use Direct-to-Desktop (D2D) technology to create a real-time classroom experience.

Participants can interact directly with XLRI faculty, ask questions, and collaborate with peers. EDPs offer flexible evening and weekend schedules that suit busy professionals. EDPs are Open to both individual and corporate-sponsored applicants.

XLRI’s Management Development Programmes (MDP) is conducted on campus in an intensive short-term format.

Eligibility for the MDP: Generally requires a Bachelor's degree with 50 % marks and 3-5+ years in managerial roles

XLRI MDP Admission Dates 2026

XLRI follows a rolling admission process through nominations by individuals or organizations. Nominations must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the programme starts via the XLRI website or email. Seats are confirmed on nomination and payment, with full fees payable before commencement. Residential accommodation is optional and charged separately.

Note: GST will be applicable with addition to the fee.

XLRI MDP Reporting, Programme Schedule & Accommodation

• Report by 9:00 AM on Day 1 for registration.
• Sessions run from 9:30 AM (Day 1) to 5:30 PM (final day).
• Residential accommodation is available from one day prior to the programme start date until 12:00 noon on the day after the programme concludes.
• Participants should plan travel accordingly.

MDP Selection Criteria

• MDPs are nomination-based, with no entrance tests or fixed cut-offs, and are open to both company-sponsored and individual applicants.
• Applicants must submit a Nomination Form or online application via the XLRI website at least 3 weeks before the programme start date.
• Nominations can be emailed to mdpoffice@xlri.ac.in
• Seats are reserved through the online MDP nomination form, and full fee payment (via NEFT/RTGS or Demand Draft) is required before the programme begins.
