XLRI Jamshedpur has opened admissions for its 18-month full-time PGDM (General Management) program for the 2026 academic session. Candidates can apply through XAT 2026 by December 4, 2025, or through GMAT/GRE by December 31, 2025.
The selection process includes multiple interview rounds scheduled from September 2025 to February 2026, with the program commencing in April 2026. The AICTE-approved course is designed for working professionals with at least three years of managerial or supervisory experience.

How to Apply for XLRI Jamshedpur MBA Program 2026-28
The admission process is carried out in four stages:
Stage 1- Application: Candidates can apply via XAT, GMAT, or GRE. The application fee is ₹2,200 for Indian candidates applying through XAT, ₹2,500 through GMAT/GRE, and ₹5,000 for foreign/NRI candidates.
Stage 2- Shortlisting: The shortlist for XAT/GMAT/GRE candidates will be released by the second week of January 2026.
Stage 3- Interview: Interviews for PGDM (GM) admission have already begun in September 2025 and will continue till February 2026, with flexibility for international candidates to appear online via G-Talk or Skype.
Stage 4- Result Announcement: Shortlisted candidates will receive offer letters via email for the XLRI PGDM (GM) program.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum three years) in any discipline and possess at least three years of managerial or supervisory experience by March 31, 2026.
Candidates can apply through XAT 2026, or submit GMAT/GRE scores taken between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2025. The XAT 2026 exam is scheduled for January 4, 2026, and requires a separate registration.
However, after selection you need to pay the fees and the total fee for the PGDM (GM) 2026–27 batch is approximately ₹25.9 lakh, excluding food, electricity, and personal expenses. The fee may be revised for subsequent sessions as per the Fee Fixation Committee’s recommendations.
