Why Was the UET UG 2026 Result Revised?
The result was revised following a category correction window provided to candidates. During this period, applicants were allowed to update their Vertical, Horizontal, and SKUAST-K-specific category details. After incorporating these corrections, the Controller of Examinations prepared a fresh merit list.
The marks scored by candidates remain unchanged. The revision only includes the corrected category particulars and applicable tie-breaking criteria. Therefore, only the merit positions of candidates whose category status changed may be affected.

- PCM Stream: For candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- PCB/A Consolidated Stream: Combines PCB with Agriculture
- PCB/M/A Consolidated Stream: Covers PCB, Mathematics and Agriculture

How to Report for Counselling and Document Verification?
Selected candidates must report physically at the Shalimar Campus, Srinagar, on their scheduled date. The reporting date will depend on the candidate’s merit rank and stream. A non-refundable counselling fee of INR 1,000 must be paid at the venue.
Candidates should reach the campus before the specified reporting time. Late reporting may result in candidates losing their turn in the counselling process. The original documents will be scanned and returned after the verification process is completed.
A small category update can shift a rank by several positions. A borderline candidate may now qualify for a preferred programme. The revised merit is now the sole basis for seat allotment.
