Course Curriculum Overview
The HRM program is very enriching and the course is rigorous. You get to solve dozens of cases daily and get a whole new perspective on the business world and how really things work. Faculty is very famous countrywide and have a 1 to 10 ratio with students.
Internships Opportunities
All big companies come here and offer great packages, as can have been in the placements report. The internship process happens in a single day with PI and GDs. The CV preparation takes time as it is a cumbersome process.
Placement Experience
The placements and internship opportunities are excellent here. After three months you get the summer internship and after the internship, some 50% get pre-placement offers and the rest are placed in their 5th semester. There is no one left behind without placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 28 lakhs for two years. You get some chances also for a scholarship. Job and internships are assisted by college and run via student bodies, and they help you in getting placed. Overall the investment is excellent.
Campus Life
Campus Life is very good. There is a fest every month and competitions every week. There are 20 formal and informal committees which makes the process very entertaining. There is one famous line here that goes "Trust the process".
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are prime attractions as they have great ambience with proper mess facilities inside the hostel. There are 3 to 4 all-time working cafes also. Students get nonveg and veg options at the same time. The cleanliness is on of the many great things present here as daily room cleaning is available free of cost.
Admission
First, you have to give XAT exam and score marks above the cutoff released by XLRI Jamshedpur. The average cutoff is available online, but It fluctuates from 93% to 95%. After that, submit your SOP and be ready for PI. There is no GD.
Interview Experience
There was no Group discussion only PI. We also had to submit an SOP before the interview involving behavioral questions. My preparation was very good as I read novels and newspapers daily. Also, I took help from online articles.
