Likes

Infrastructure, management and locality.

Dislikes

Mess food, Faculty, and a teacher Pinaki Ranjan durai

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement & internship. Wipro & TCS. Average package offered here is 3.5 lac per annum And highest package offered is "19" lac per annum 60 percent of student gets placement. My placement after getting degree is to get skills in different companies.

St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology: At a glance

Likes

Canteen facility is the best here. They offer healthy, fresh foods always
The library facility is good here. The library has a lot of books.
The faculty members are good they explain things in very proper manner.

Dislikes

There is no hostel facility so the candidates coming from distance faces some issues in staying at PGs
There is no cultural fest and freshers occurred here
The sudden rise in price is literally too high to be paid

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from 4th year onwards. The highest package is 10lpa and avg is 6.6 LPA. The placement percentage is 85%. My plan after getting the degree is to crack gate so ths

Likes

College is good clean well decorated , flowers trees.
Environment of this college is good in our college
Canteen food is good. And tasty students can eat with affordable price

Dislikes

Building paint is good infrastructure is not good at all
Washroom are uncleaned and. Dont like this things
There is a lots mismanagement like exam like this

Good Private College in West Bengal

Likes

I liked the fests that were organized by the clubs.
The gaming community in college is pretty good.
The technical club in college is pretty good too.

Dislikes

The sports club is not that great. It does not even have table tennis
I dislike my first year mechanical lab teachers with my heart.
Most of the management quota students. They are pretty annoying.

Placements in our college is descent compared to other colleges. The average placement is about 4-5 lpa. Many mass requiters like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS visit the college and many more companies come in college. Almost no core companies come to college, so the students of core departments like electrical, mechanical, and civil are forced to prepare for tech companies.

Likes

Very big college campus with 10 hostels .
Faculties of college is very approachable
My college have very big library with lots of books

Dislikes

The area where college is situated is very bad
The management system of our college is poor

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement in our college . The highest package is about 27 lpa last year and allmost 90% of the students get placed through campus placement . There where 120+ company visited in our college last year

Classroom are very comfortable and good .contain ac
Have playground and hostel (currently not available)
Teachers are helpful, appreciated,friendly

Dislikes

Currently hostel is not available (it's under construction)
Limited food items in canteen and it's not available for all day
Some building is too old and collage decoration is simple

Placement Experience:

In textile technology and apparel production management they have 80 percent placement For computer science and information technology they give 40 percent placement opportunity Other student go for heiger study and off campus placement

AEC - Risk & Return

Likes

Nice infrastructure and large campus size.
Hostel facilities are also available, 3 hostels for boys, 2 for girls
Gym, students common room & basketball court

Dislikes

Superior behaviour of students in the campuses.
Attendance is mandatory and some faculty members create issue for it.
No money for freshers is provided therefore no refreshment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good package opportunity, great learning skill development. Nice well educated faculty, regular classes, good student teacher interaction. Good no. of PHD holders in faculty members. Exams - Internal to be held in every 1.5months, finals - once each semester i.e. twice a year

Techno Main salt lake might be just the college for you if you sre looking for a good CV , college background and skillsets.

Likes

Open campus and the amenities it provides for its students
The fests that occurs at college and number of clubs in the college
The friendly staff and students near college who are really friendly and supportive of you

Dislikes

In first year, the college starts and ends at off times
The canteen provides good quality food but the prices are quite high for the students
Commute can be tough since the college is in a very commercial placelike sector v and there is always rush due to the offices near the college

Placement Experience:

Our college places their students well in many high places like google, ibm, and many other companies. Once you enroll yourself here , you are garunteed a good placement in a nice company if you keep your cv clean and skillful and maintain a proper cgpa.
