Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years full-time diploma program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- 10th standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional (for Counseling)
- 10th standard qualified with minimum 35% in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional and having 90 or above in Math & Physical Science/Science taken together in case of Direct Admission without JEXPO Rank.
- Age Restriction- The lower age limit is 15 (fifteen) years as on 01.07.2024
Entrance Exam:

It's a good college and teachers are well too. Labs are good. And the seminars are good too. We are getting more information about our course and knowledge about our subjects. All department teachers are good too

Total 135000 is the total course fee. 20000 is the semester fees . They also help in availing student credit card facilities. The accounts department is also very supportive and the principal is also accessible

Being a private institute and the institute is located in a metropolitan city at dumdum fees amount best in class I have not to face any issue with the college. I like to say that JIS provides an internal scholarship of an amount of 60000 to the student who has studied diploma from Surtech. Besides that, there are many scholarships from the West Bengal government and some from a private institute. Like- Swami Vivekananda merit-cum-means scholarship, aikashree by west Bengal gov, oasis scholarship is also available to the reserved category.

Fees are absolutely nominal in comparison with other colleges. Moreover, this college takes care of every student's merit and provided lots of scholarships. I got a scholarship of 60,000/- per year from this college during my B.Tech course.

The semester fees are very much nominal as compared to other colleges. Cost to study is also nominal as the college is placed in the south dumdum area and the area has a very good transportation network. Dumdum metro station is almost half a kilometre from college so the cost of transportation is at ease. No, there is no such fees hike policy that I've observed till now. Students who have completed their diploma from this college are getting a scholarship of Rs.60000. Apart from this, there is some other government scholarships available such as the Swami Vivekananda merit scholarship and Aikashree.

The fee is much less than another college. the college is located in dum dum. it is neat the dum dum metro and airport also near. the bus is always available in this location. JIS provides a scholarship of 60000 and also gets many different scholarships like an oasis, swami Vivekananda metric cum means, and many more.

As this college is situated in dumdum area as per the mode of transport is very cheap and easy. The railway is also near as well as the metro station. Fees and fee structure of this college is good in in compared to other colleges. In diploma my total fees are 1,35,000 which is actually very decent amount.and they also provide many scholarships such as Swami Vivekananda merit-cum-means scholarship,Aikashree, and Oasis Scholarship

The fees are nominal compairing to other private institute. The college is situated in the middle of Dumdum airport and Dumdum metro station. so, comparing the location the fees is quite ok. I have not observed any kind of hidden fees as well as policies. I took admission via jexpo counselling so that my total course fee is 99000. During admission I have to give 15000 for admission and 14000 for 1st semester. After that my every semester fee is 14000. I got Oasis scholarship from government for this course.

The fees have not enough compared to the other Institutes. Diploma (through counselling) under 1,00,000. Diploma (TFW) (through counselling) under 50,000 Diploma (other than counselling) 1,35,000 B.Tech under 4,00,000 B.tech(TFW) near about 67,300 B.tech (Lateral Entry) under 3,00,000 Comparing to the location, the fees are quite ok because the college located in Dum Dum, access to transportation is very easy here. There are some government scholarships available as Swami Vivekananda Merit- Cum-Means Scholarship, Aikyashree Scholarship by West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation. I got the Aikyashree Scholarship. Oasis scholarship is also available to the reserve category students. The fee is nominal when compared to the other Institutes. Since the college is located in Dumdum, access to transportation is very easy here. Also the Dumdum Metro Station and the Airport is also very close. So comparing to the location, the fees is quite ok. I haven't observed any kind of Fee Hike Policies during my B.Tech career. I haven't observed any kind of fee hike policies. JIS provided an internal Scholarship of Rs. 60,000 to the students who have studied Diploma here. Apart from that, there are some government Scholarships to which all students can apply.
