DSCSITSC, a college that helps creating a better future

I've completed my course of Diploma in Automobile Engineering from DSCSD3C. I took the admission and the admission process was seamless and ordered. I didn't opt for any quota but there is an option already for choosing quota for admission. After completion of my diploma, I got job offers from reputed companies via in college placement, companies such as Tata, Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, L&T, and many more fo come to our college for recruitment. But I didn't opted a job, instead I thought of pursuing a graduate course of Btech in automobile engineering from this college only, as they also provide a scholarship of Rs 60000 for the ones who have completed their diploma from this college. Professors are very humble and helpful in each and every way be it academic or non-academic.

I did choose this course because I wanted to have a very matured and developed knowledge of automobiles, as the Automobile was very big important in my life from my childhood. And talking of developed knowledge in this course the professors have helped me very much on perfecting my reach and every flaw as they are highly qualified and they teach in a very nice and easy manner so that no students have any doubts regarding the subjects and ofc doubts arise they are always there to help clear all the doubts one has regarding the subject. Taking about the exam pattern each semester comprises of 3 tests, 2 slots/ internal tests at 1 and a half month interval and an end semester exam. The college has its own LMS portal on which their internal exams takes place. Talking about difficulties to pass exams, professors are very much helpful in every manner to clear all the doubts sho the is no such difficulties to pass the exam.

There is a wide opportunity of internships from our college, our college provides internships through Internshala apart from that students can also register them on AICTE-TULIP for more opportunities. Students doing internships can gain more experience to get cleared on placements easy and getting hired in good companies.

Talking about placements students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies like Tech Mahindra, L&T, Capgemini, sigma, Byjus, Rotodyne conducts placements in our college and our college had tie-ups with Hyundai and Ashok Leyland. The average percentage of students getting placed is near about 80%.

The semester fees are very much nominal as compared to other colleges. Cost to study is also nominal as the college is placed in the south dumdum area and the area has a very good transportation network. Dumdum metro station is almost half a kilometre from college so the cost of transportation is at ease. No, there is no such fees hike policy that I've observed till now. Students who have completed their diploma from this college are getting a scholarship of Rs.60000. Apart from this, there is some other government scholarships available such as the Swami Vivekananda merit scholarship and Aikashree.

Manthan is an annual tech fest organized by the college every year in the month of March. In this pandemic also the tech fest wasn't put to a halt instead the tech fray eased behind in the virtual model. Talking about the library and amenities in the classroom, DSCSDEC has a commodious library and an extensive amount of books one can choose and can borrow too. Due to this pandemic situation Ebooks are provided by the college for study purposes. The classroom comprises each and every amenity required by students and teachers. Our college has a generously immense indoor and outdoor stadium for sports and fest purposes.
