After 10th or 12th class ,you have to appear a entrance exam i.e. JEXPO conducting by WBSCTE that based on 10th level syllabus .The application is online mode that may be started in May -June month every year, application fees is 500 and the exam held in mid of July and the exam will be in English and Bengali language MCQ pattern with 100 marks and 2 hours time . For admissions, students have to appear in JEXPO Or WBJEE. 10th passed students are eligible for admission and admission forms, fees, dates etc are published on the official website of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development. If any student gets a seat after clearing the exam (mentioned above), he/she will receive a proper email with an allotment letter. Students have to send their Madhyamik result and Admit card along with filling out the form given with the allotment letter. Later he/she will be called to college for verification. After the verification, he /she will be listed on the admission list. Few seats are reserved for OBC, STC, SC etc. I think the admission process is good and during the verification process, the respected teachers and staff (involved in the verification process) are very helpful and supportive to the students.
