Nothing to dislike in this clg but sometimes the electricity is gone without any reasons ofcourse it's the municipality fault.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to be a technician like my father. I guess our ETCE department need a few new machines. Every semester we've 2 internal exams from college and these exams are good and moderate level questions given in this exams . Timing is same as previous year.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 800 per year

Internships Opportunities

I'm in 3rd semester I attend in a internship and I paid 500 rupees for this course and this internship is not started yet they are fixing time with our college department for a better time and they promised us that they'll come and train us in this college campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 800 when I take admission in first semester it's for 6 months and 800 more for 2nd semester and now I paid 800 for 3rd semester. All students fees structure are same. And I didn't get any scholarship from this college.

Campus Life

We are in Bengal so we Bengali's have too much festivals so our clg and state council has declared the holidays about 2.5 -3 months in a year ( If we sum up all the holidays). We've a library for all the students and there are a vast collection of books that are only our technical books for our semester like text books only. We don't have any sports cultures in this college campus. And we're very happy that the seniors of this college are very helpful they are so good and friendly and it's a ragging free campus.

Admission

I applied in this college and another college in Kolkata which is Kolkata Technical School. And in first councelling week I got this college and I was very happy as it is near to my home. Admission process is too easy, the college department contact us and gave the notice to take the necessary documents with us when we take the admission.

Faculty

I don't think any faculty members I know whom I hate. Here in 6 months we've 3 exams including 2 internal and 1 external/ semester. Like fail ratio is less but some students of first semester failed in physics in previous year. We've 5 courses here and they all are good as per your choice.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.
