Admissions at Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira Polytechnic are based on merits obtained in the class 10th examinations or any other equivalent examination. Students need a minimum of 60% aggregate in their examinations to be eligible for the diploma courses.
Candidate’s rank obtained in either the Shilpamandira Admission Test (SAT) or the WBSCTE Admissions test - JEXPO is also considered for admissions.
Candidates will be required to appear for counselling after the declaration of result.
Only male individuals are given admission to the Institute.
Admissions to lateral entry courses will be as per availability of seats.
Seats are allotted via SAT 2020 Counseling (25%) & JEXPO-2020 Central Counseling (75%).

Good Infrastructure.One of the best campus.
Lab are the one of the best lab.All machines are in working condition .
Living ideal life.Living like Maharaj ji (monks of Ramkrishna mission)

In raining days roads are flooded.Other time every thing is at its place.

Admission:

At first I get admission in Malda polytechnic college in Civil engineering but I prefer the Electrical Engineering so I went for the 2nd counciling there I get admission in Ramkrishna mission Shilpapitha. Admission process is you have to give exam called JEXPO after securing a good score you have to choose colleges and subjects according to your choice. After participating in counciling you get to chance admission in college.

I do apply for other colleges and get into few of them but i choose this college because it has very high teaching standards. I get through this college Jexpo and it has low fees comparing to other privet colleges. It has high placement rate.

Likes

RKMS College is known for its vibrant and dynamic culture. It fosters an environment of academic excellence, creativity, and innovation.
Great academic culture along with regular prayer and classes.
Rkms is a good college for diploma candidates.

Dislikes

Maintaining uniform, safety shoe is always mandatory.
They have very much tight schedule for attending prayers.
You have to maintain 80% attendance throughout the semester.

Admission:

They don't have any consideration for jexpo but for sat they prefer wheather you have 60 percent in secondary in math and science. There is no reservation. if you are eligible and have good rank with academic records you are welcome.

I recently went through the admission process at our college, and I wanted to share my experience with you. The first step is taking the Shilpmandira Admission Test(SAT), which assesses your proficiency in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. This test holds 100 marks in total, with Mathematics carrying 50, Physics 30, & Chemistry 20 marks. To be eligible, you must be an Indian male citizen who has passed or appeared in the Secondary(Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board or equivalent. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with English, Physical Science, and Mathematics as subjects is required, with at least 60% in Physical Science and Mathematics combined. Additionally, the college welcomes JEXPO candidates. The eligibility criteria emphasize the importance of a well-rounded academic background, ensuring that students have a strong foundation in key subjects. I got admitted through the Shilpamandira Admission test which the college conducts for its own admission process. You can find the application form on their website. The application fee at my time was about 200 rupees. The application form is published around the month of February every year. The admission process is clean and smooth.

Admission:

If you have passed Matriculation you are eligible for taking this course. Before the WBBSE exam, you can find the application on the WBSCTE website tentative time is around January - February. The application fee is under 500. If you want to opt for any Government college from counseling there is a reservation same as other government institutions. Previously admission was an offline process but now it's totally online so they have improved the admission process.

Admission:

After jexpo good ranks, you'll be able to study there. My rank was 4877 and I study these in the ETCE stream. Now I am doing the higher study. I think this is the best diploma engineering College in West Bengal. Regular study and classes happen here and also exam system was very strict. Sir and teachers and highly knowledgeable and good for all types of students and also they're very helpful.
