I choose the core subject which is electrical engineering which is good for your future that's why I choose this course and our college provides the best infrastructure to learn electrical engineering. We have more than 15 faculty only in electrical engineering all are highly educated (mtech). The exam was conducted strictly will help students to create a future, our college provides students with the best way to take placement.

Class Size: 112Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies like Tata Motors. Tcs and infotech limited, cumming company, Mahindra motors, dana pvt limited, L and t company, TCS, spice limited, this gives us a good package and good career objective, I am a trained engineer in Tata motors my job is to check outdated parts of machines.

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is a minimum of only 110000 for electrical engineering for three years. This cost is minimum and colleges also give subsidies to poor students. Our college provides the best placement to students as possible. I got placed in tata motors in my 4th semester

Campus Life

Our college gives assistance to students to arrange a fest. Our Library has lots of books and it is enough for all students. Classrooms are well occupied with computers, and projectors. Generally, our teacher also provides books materials college Whatsapp group

Hostel Facilities

Hostel foods are hygienic, generally its gives 2 day nonveg and 2 day paneer. And remaining days are veg. Hostel registration is easy just fill a little form ans pay advanced. Hostels are situated in college campus

Hostel Fee: INR 27000 per year

Admission

Admission is baseed on your class 10 marks. I take direct admission to the college application form is given by office member after paying the admission fees. There is no reservation for admission. The admission process is better in new horizons institutes of technology durgapur college.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

Eligibility is 10 passes, you can find the application form in the office. College is good, with good placement and study environment teachers teach from the basic. They have great group sizes and have a good occasional group seminar and are very informative. In this college, you can continue your study with a job. They've even worked out of the hour to provide one-to-one support to get me through assignments. The teacher also gives extra classes. Many big companies like Wipro, Infosys, L and T etc many more visited here and made many offers. The Most Valuable Time

I have applied to four colleges but chooses NHIT, Durgapur because it has the comfortable fees that any student can afford. The minimum marks need for admission to this college are 90% on the 10th and 90% on the 12th also. The admission process is nice and easy.
