Likes

The laboratory are very good, having enough space and good equipments.
Best faculties are here, they have great knowledge and really wiling to give knowledge.
The college is well disciplined, for uniform, timing, etc.

Dislikes

Placement cell isn’t supportive in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is followed according to WBSCTVE (West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development). Teaching curriculum is very very good and the frequency of exams are perfect.

Internships Opportunities

Generally college had organised a 15 days training program in a private firm nearby Kolkata without any stipend, but I haven't attended that. College generally arranges several seminars and webinars inside college, and also in other colleges.

Placement Experience

Actually I have completed my studies during the starting of COVID19, so there was not any company at that time which are ready to hire, according to our college. But thereafter the covid passed, still there was no support for placements from the placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

My overall course fees was ?1,20,000. I have paid ?30,000 as admission and 1st semester fees. And thereafter ?18,000 per semester. The hostel charges aren't included. The exam fees and library charges aren't included.

Campus Life

Every year annual and technical festivals are held around the month of April, within the college campus. An annual sports day is also organised every year and some cricket and football tournaments are also arranged.

Admission

I choose NHIT, because I have heard about this college from many of my seniors who have studied from this college before me. The admission process wasn't complicated, as once I went to the college and talked to management, then I just keep my the documents and fees for admission next time.

Faculty

Faculties in this college is really enough good. The course structure is designed as per WBSCTVESD (West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education & Skill Development). Exam is very strict, as you have to study well for the exams, but even you only attend the classes still you can pass with good marks.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

DIVINE COLLEGE FOR STUDENTS

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Placement Experience:

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

Heven college

Eligibility is 10 passes, you can find the application form in the office. College is good, with good placement and study environment teachers teach from the basic. They have great group sizes and have a good occasional group seminar and are very informative. In this college, you can continue your study with a job. They've even worked out of the hour to provide one-to-one support to get me through assignments. The teacher also gives extra classes. Many big companies like Wipro, Infosys, L and T etc many more visited here and made many offers. The Most Valuable Time

I have applied to four colleges but chooses NHIT, Durgapur because it has the comfortable fees that any student can afford. The minimum marks need for admission to this college are 90% on the 10th and 90% on the 12th also. The admission process is nice and easy. Firstly you have filled up the application form of the college and submit it on the college website and wait for the merit list.
