Remarks

I took admission in this college through management quota. First I go to the college admission cell with my parents & talk about various courses & admission procedure. Then I choose Diploma mechanical engineering. The minimum admission criteria is 35% in secondary examination. No age limit was there. In the day of admission I gave them all my details & documents & fillup application form & also attached important documents which are required. And paid 1st semester fees which include addmission fees.

The department of Mechanical engineering is very Attractive. There are many laboratories are available like material testing, fluid lab, thermal lab, IC engine lab, heat transfer,Autocad & CATIA lab & many more The faculty members are highly qualified & They are very helpful to teaching & mentoring the students. Also helped students to improve their technical skills through many engineering projects. Also thay help for research in various fields. 3 exams are conducted in each semester, 2 are internal & 1 external.

The college provide very good internship facility. The internship was in flipkart & Amazon. 15k stipend per month for 3 month's. Many student got this opportunity. It's also helpful for campusing placement.

The overall fees of the course is 1.14 lakhs for 3 years. So many well reputated company are came into campusing & allmost every student got job with stipend of 15K. If you took admission through management quota the overall fees is 1.5 lakh for this course

The Necessity of Industrial Exposure in Graduate Studies (4/5/2020) 2. Basic of Strength of Materials and Its Application in Engineering and Technology (18/7/2020). II. Workshops 1. Two Days Workshop on “3D Printing” in collaboration with Skyfi Lab dated 03.09.19 to 04.09.19. 2. One Day Workshop on “National Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing Technology 2019 (NWAMT 2019)” dated 17.04.19. Also organised blood donation camp & tree plantation.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
