The faculty members are very helpful. They will help u if you're stuck somewhere and the course structure is different for other courses. But the library fee, dress, and bag is included in your fee structure.

Low fee with low attendance policy college in kolkata

Friendly and supportive environment among student and professors.

Dislikes

Washrooms are poor, dirty and don't expect any proper knowledge from the professors

As the college is under makaut, the question paper will be set from the Makaut board and sometimes the question paper can be totally unexpected and out of the syllabus. The checking in mackout is even worse, sometimes you might get marks randomly and then you have to put the paper in review which will cost you around 200 rupees. Every semester there are four CA exams, CA1-2-3-4, and then comes your final semester exam along with your practical exams. If you get a backlog in the first semester then you will get the opportunity to clear it in 3rd semester. The syllabus is quite outdated.

There is no compulsion of 75% attendance and the faculty are really chill about it.

Teaches can be better and more helpful it seems they do not have depth knowledge about the subject

The college follows Makaut University exam pattern. So there is CA1 and CA2 in which you have to submit PDFs and reports. Most of the time facultie are not even there to teach and make us understand the concepts. So basically we have to study at home only CA3 and is a paper pen mode held in college and CA4 is computerised based which is held in our computer labs.

The Enthusiastic Extravaganza of Engineering Life

Regular seminars are conducted which helps the students to connect to the industry.

Sometimes more emphasis is given on cultural events rather than studies.
Research based projects are not encouraged. There's no scope of encouraging students to innovate.

Recently more faculties are being recruited and they are individuals who have thorough knowledge in the subjects which they are teaching. More or less the subjects are being well taught and special care is given to the students. I am happy about the faculty, only drawback is that some of the teachers should teach in an engaging manner. Nowadays we students are stressed over small things and only engaging teaching can help us to improve our studies.

Big campus,good experience and different courses available

College faculty is very good all teacher are very polite

Maximum teachers are graduate from well known colleges in their field and score good marks.Many of them works in a research and some teacher got Ph.d in their subdject.They have a great teaching skills and every teachers have a unique style to teach the student.

Good for students who are underprivileged but highly motivated.

The faculty is educated and helpful enough to provide you guidance.

Some of the faculty is very rude. Hence, not very helpful.

The faculty members are very helpful , especially the core subject teachers. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 10:1. The teaching method is traditional theoretical teaching but during the covid, the teachers were successfully teaching online. The teachers are even helpful for your own personal doubts.

All about SUR TECH

The teachers in my department is very helpful.

In my department (ECE ) there are 6 teachers and 3 lab assistants . In our batch there are 55 students. Our teachers are are very helpful, they mentor us well and we can interact with them at any time.
