Course Curriculum Overview

As we know the modern world is unable to run without the softwares we need. So in this time Computer Science knowledge is very much important for every students. So our college provides the chance to grow the knowledge and skills for the computer science as every students can easily grow with the modern technology.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 109100 per year

Internships Opportunities

From 5th semester our college offered internships in many companies with starting stipend 2 lpa. Also our college provides summer internships for the 3rd year and 4th year students. by the internships the students works with the real life projects for their better placement ingood company in future.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 6th semester the students are eligable for campus placements. The companies are visited like TCS, wipro, capgemini, cognizent, accenture, infosys, paytm, amazon and many others. The highest package of the placements are around 20-30 lpa and the average package is 3.5-4 or 5 lpa. Every year the maximum students of every branch are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

As first I want to mention that our college has several field of engineering. As my stream is Computer Science and Engineering, for that the total fess structure is Rs. 4,36,406, if I calculate it in yearly it stands as Rs. 1,09,100. The tution fees for each semester stands for around Rs. 50,000. Also our college provides several type of scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship which directly offered by the West Bengal Government and also merit scholarships and many others.The addmission fees is around Rs. 70,000 and the caution money os Rs. 10,000 is refundable.

Campus Life

Our college organize a grand annual fest and tech fest in every year. Also our college organize many cultural events and seminars for the betterment of the students. We have many cultural clubs like music club, drama club, photography club and sports club. Also our college has a big stock books in library of every field of branches. The books are all time avaliable for study. Also the study material for each semester is provided by the library.

Admission

Our college has three types entrance admission - WBJEE, JEE mains, JEXPO. Also it has direct admission process. The cut of the WBJEE is around 70 thousand. Also the particlular student have to complete Higher secondary examination (10+2) with science background have to score over 60%.

Faculty

Maximum teachers has master degree and PHD degree at their subjects. The teachers are helpful and always helps the students to clear the doubts. The relation of students with the teachers is very good. Their learning technique is very impressive for the students.

Placement in our college is descent . Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th Semester. For CSE/IT companies like TCS,CTS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc... come for the placements. For Core branches like EE,ECE,ME Companies like L &T ,samsung, TATA Steel etc...come for offers. The highest package is around 8 to 10 LPA and the average is around 4 to 5 LPA. 70% to 80% of RCCIIT generally get placed across varios department. My plan is to persue MS from abroad/.

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of the college is very good, cadets start getting placements from 2nd year but majorly the mass placement process starts from 3rd year. The packages ranges from 400-1200 USD as an engine cadet. There are major companies such as CHEVRON, MSC, DYNAGAS, NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, PACIFIC BASIN, MOL, IOCL, ZODIAC MARITIME, TORM TANKERS, etc that visit the college for placements every year. For every batch the placement ratio is above 95%. This college is known for its placements and alumni network

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. Our college recieves admission through counselling as well as direct admission through management quota. So to get admitted in this college you have to clear WBJEE. The admission criteria in my college were:- Candidate must pass Higher Secondary(10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a Council/Board recognized by the state govt./Central govt. concerned, with individual pass marks(in both & practical wherever applicable)in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application) having a minimum of 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together(40%for Reserve Category candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates in the said qualifying examination.
