Remarks

I applied for this college through wbjee counselling, but instead got a seat in St Thomas college. I didn't attend it and finally got a seat in this college through jee main counselling. I have taken admission under general category. Minimum age 18 minimum marks in isc-90 and above and through jee and wbjee counselling. The admission process quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because this it is the best course in our college. It is quite famous. Faculty student ratio is 27:1.The faculty are quite qualified. The teaching method which is now online is quite good and well managed. Some faculties are outstanding but some are equally very bad. Thus in average, faculty is good. Exams are very timely and little difficult. Our college is autonomous, so our question paper is different.

Internships Opportunities

Many start up aplly internship for the post of web developer, software developer etc with an average stipend of 5000 rupees. Many projects of computer subject arevoerformed by our students. Our teachers also help in our project like making an automated machine for doing something useful

Placement Experience

From 5th semester, placements start coming in our college. Companies like tcs, wipro, godrej, Mahindra visit our college and most of the students get at least two job offers. 80% students get placement. Highest package-12 lac and avg -3. 6 lacs and tcs makes the largest recruitment in our college. After getting degree, I dream to get placed in tcs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike is rare, it is government controlled and cost to study is low. Students from other states also very much prefer this college. I have not receive any scholarship. And i am currently studying in first year. But, I am sure that college provides some assistance to the financial weaker students through scholarship s which are given by our government.

Campus Life

Heritage fest is the annual festival and in October it occurs. Also a tech fest is arranged once a year in August. Library is quite good with many books, well equied with actually, good seats, silent atmosphere. We also have a digital library. We have a smart board, good chairs and an airt classroom. Annual sports held every year and manu many co-curricular shows like dance, music, tech, etc are also arranged. Many social groups like dsc tech community, flying club, environment club, music club, yoga club etc are run by the students

Placement in our college is descent . Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th Semester. For CSE/IT companies like TCS,CTS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc... come for the placements. For Core branches like EE,ECE,ME Companies like L &T ,samsung, TATA Steel etc...come for offers. The highest package is around 8 to 10 LPA and the average is around 4 to 5 LPA. 70% to 80% of RCCIIT generally get placed across varios department. My plan is to persue MS from abroad/.

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of the college is very good, cadets start getting placements from 2nd year but majorly the mass placement process starts from 3rd year. The packages ranges from 400-1200 USD as an engine cadet. There are major companies such as CHEVRON, MSC, DYNAGAS, NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, PACIFIC BASIN, MOL, IOCL, ZODIAC MARITIME, TORM TANKERS, etc that visit the college for placements every year. Course in a tough situation

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. Hi I am a student in hit kolkata.Admission is taken through both wbjee and jee main score. Especially for computer science a rank of around 4000 can secure you a place ,may vary a little bit. Talking about the application form it will come on the wbjee web page .Application fee is 500. Application dates will be updated on the official website. There are reservation benefits in college based on category,family income like twf in which semester fees is reduced. Before admission process there ocurrs 2 round of counselling and a mop up round.Then the admission in which a amount of around 70000 is paid through cash or online medium. Coming to the college aspect the main things to talk about are infrastructure,teaching and teachers, food ,water .And all these things are pretty good.There are some more needs like sports facilities so there is playground in which you can play.There is also some programs keep happening at certain times to keep your mind free after hours of classes. Unveiling HITK

So, basically i gave all engineering exams and i got good marks in jee as well as in wbjee but waiting for jee councelling to get decent college of my choice unfortunately i did not got what i was expecting and thus throung my jee marks i got admission in hitk which is also a decent college.
