The life in HITK

The course curriculum is aligned with MAKAUT. that is not modernized or aligned with the marketing and job field. But , this college provides you with the opportunity to experiment and learn the necessary things that are required for job. The college will support you in all your future decisions that needs to be taken for your career

The internship is arranged in 4th year by college for every student so that the resume is well built for the jobs. The internship doesn't always have stipend but it is tried to match with the stream one student is in.

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Semester wise fee is Rs 69500 from 2nd sem to 8th sem. In 1st sem during Admission, the semester wise fee was 60000 ,development fee was 9000 (also TFW), admission fee was 10000, sports fee was 4000, libarary fee was 6000 , students development fee was 2200, caution deposit ( refundable) was 10000, and admission kit was 1000. The total amount to be given was 102700. And for TFW ,it was 42200.

The campus life is very fun at HERITAGE. It includes sports , random cultural events. There is also a wide variety of books in the library. The curriculum is more than covered from those books. Coming to the festivals of the college, there are variety of events for dance , instrumental, song , fashion show , quiz , drama. This festival goes on for more than a month. The clubs in the college is pretty active. Our college also provides sports facilities like cricket, football, archery , volleyball, basketball, table tennis.

The college has hostel for girls only. But there are pgs and hostel outside the college for boys, those are very near. The hostel for girls provides with 3 time meal and the room has 4 members. The rooms are clean

I have found heritage institute of technology as one of the best private institutions in Kolkata. I have recieved great reviews about this college from the ex students. This college provides you with the best placements and best memories sometimes.

The faculty is very supportive and helpful. Often they are very easy to reach out in any problem. They understand almost every situation. Sometimes there arises a problem with very few faculty like physics and maths. My personal experience with my faculty has been pretty decent till my 2nd year.

No tests were taken for the admission. The rank of wb jee is enough to get admission in HITK. The process is pretty simple. The documents must be all valid and proper and the admission will take no time if the process is through wbjee.

The College closes at 8 pm. Including the hostel, library and everything. No outside student is allowed after that. And hostel girls are not allowed to leave the campus. The college has few local shops which are open till 10 pm.
