i would rate the course curriculum at heritage institute of technology as moderately comprehensie and reasnable relevent ' though there is certainly room for improvement ,the curriculum dies a dencent jobs in prerparaing forbstudents examinations and technical interviews especially for software engineers . some suggestions for improvement in curriculum : modernization of syllabus , more industery - projectd , flexibale electives , intheractive teaching approches

it provides a ran gee of interships and palcements cell and deparmental initiatives , studenrts are encourged to apply interships from 2nd or 3RD year , several reputed companies like TCS ion ,IBM,cognicant , some start up like NASSCOM 10k staartups progrsm .

the placement scenario at HITK is fairly good , especially for computer science and it related btranches . several knows companies visit the campus each yeaar TCS, congnixant , wipro , deloitte , pwc,virtusa , IBM, tech mahindra and some of the stat up laos Revature , ZS associate and amazon interships as well .

for 1st year : 1,25,000 for 2nd year : 1,14000 for 3rd year :1,14,000 for 4th year : 1,14,000 the first year is slightly higher due to admission , caution , and , registration fees and all .there were so many schlorship as merit-cum-means schlorsip,swami-vivekananda (wb govt ..) , AICTE etc and note the major key factor for a domiclie student that in our college for weaker sections they are providing a tuttion fee wavier (TFW) , if any one belongsd to tfw quota then their fees would be decreasing by a almost of 70-80% which is a big thimngs .

my overall wexpericens at HITK has been vibrant and engaging . basically HIT hosts two major festivals as DAKAHH , UDBHAV , and the cwentral library at the cb building is well - equipped with a larger collections of text books .students alsio running the clubs like coding clubs , robotics clubs , literacy clubs etc .

i chooswe heritage institue of technology , kolkata over others colleges due to its strong academic reputatioond , good infrsastructure ,and consistent placement records . the admission process is through wbjee or jee mains with wbjeee being most common , however for jee mains their is only 10% resevation .

faculty to student ratio : the facult to student ratio around to be 1:20 to 1:25. faculty to student rrelstionships : most faculty memebers are approchable for outside the classes , if wev have any qiueries realted to study or whstever . the couse curriculum is regultated by (MAKAUT) formly WBUT.exams are moderately difficult in heritage .

the night life ar HITK is relatively clam and composure as well , since the casmpus is located in anandapura , neaerr ruby hospital . the hostel timming is 9:00 pm fir boys and girsls as well , the library closes by 7:00 pm and a gym and indoor facillities are available till the evening for late nights food or breaks , student often go to nra=ear by palces like acropolis mall , cafe coffee day .
