Our Campus is quite big and is full of greenery.
We also have a big and well maintained football ground.
Our college also provides a badminton court which is also very well maintained.

Dislikes

Boys washroom is not well maintained and need proper cleaning.

Admission:

I have applied earlier in Brainware University but i have choosen this college later on because SURTECH is under MAKAUT which gives a extra added value to our BTECH certificate. Our college recieves admission through counselling as well as direct admission through management quota. So to get admitted in this college you have to clear WBJEE. Or you can take direct admission through management quota if you can afford donation.

Low fee with low attendance policy college in kolkata

Likes

Friendly and supportive environment among student and professors.
Also has a good library, a football ground and also TT room

Dislikes

Don't have proper drinking water or a good canteen to have your meal
Washrooms are poor, dirty and don't expect any proper knowledge from the professors

Admission:

I was applying for private colleges in Calcutta the total fee structure was quite low in this college compared to other private colleges and hence I took admission in this plus here the attendance is not mandatory so you have to keep it at 75%. You can get into this college by directly applying or you can come here from wbjee counselling.

Likes

There is no compulsion of 75% attendance and the faculty are really chill about it.
Fees structure is affordable compared to the other private colleges
College is really helpful and lenient for the projects and stuffs

Dislikes

Teaches can be better and more helpful it seems they do not have depth knowledge about the subject
Bathroom is really untidy and dirty and there is no filtered water available in the college
No alumni is there to connect and make connections

Admission:

I choose this college because it was near my home and attendance was not compulsory there. I apply to one or two colleges but the problem was distance and fees also because this college was kind of affordable and I was a Little Low on budget. I didn't even attempt any government exams like JEE or WBJEE

Our college has three types entrance admission - WBJEE, JEE mains, JEXPO. Also it has direct admission process. The cut of the WBJEE is around 70 thousand. Also the particlular student have to complete Higher secondary examination (10+2) with science background have to score over 60%.

The Enthusiastic Extravaganza of Engineering Life

Regular seminars are conducted which helps the students to connect to the industry.
Our college is NBA Accredited which is one of the most significant aspects of our college.

Dislikes

Research based projects are not encouraged. There's no scope of encouraging students to innovate.
Placements are okay but could've been better.
Sometimes more emphasis is given on cultural events rather than studies.

Admission:

Admission process was smooth. Students can get admission via WBJEE Exam or JEE Mains Exam ranks respectively. Cutoff is genereally mid for the students to get admission. It varies from 10K-35K in WBJEE. You have to bring your class 10 and 12 results and admit cards along with government verified identification cards such as Aadhar and PAN Cards. No extra documents are required. Payment issues can be there when server is down. Diploma students can get admission through JEXPO and JELET examinations. The only thing I didn't liked is that some seats which are remaining gets filled by studnets directly through AMPAI exam which hampers the credibility of students getting admission through WBJEE and JEE mains.

Big campus,good experience and different courses available

The college provides many other writers book for free and also give the pyq
The college have a big playground for playing cricket and also there are cricket pitch in the back side of the college and a auditorium where we play badminton
College faculty is very good all teacher are very polite

Dislikes

All classes have not air conditioners so during summer all students faces issues
Wifi are limited which is very very low (33 mb per day)

Admission:

There are 2 types of admission process.1 is the webjee result allotment the college and then by rank the student got the stream.2 is the entrance exam which is AMPAI.The Ampai students first admitted in the college then. College conducted the Ampai exam and after the rank of the exam they provide the stream

The faculty is educated and helpful enough to provide you guidance.
The college provides good extracurricular activities and campus life.
The Ashok Leyland building is very helpful for hands-on-experience for Automobile students.

Dislikes

Some of the faculty is very rude. Hence, not very helpful.
The placement is not very prominent. You will have to self-study and earn the position.
The lab facilities for the computer science students is not very nice.

Admission:

The eligibility criteria of the course is rank above 30k in wbjee. The application form is found on the original website of clg and the admission fees is 80k which is included in the course fees, the college takes the application during may-aug. There is reservation benefits for scheduled caste people but I am from general category, so i don't have the experience. The admission could be easier if there were college assistant bots on it's website.

All about SUR TECH

Likes

The teachers in my department is very helpful.
I love my college campus, there is a football stadium in side the campus.
The library facilities are also good. You will find all kinds of books related to your course.

Dislikes

Our table tanis room is too short to play.
Our virtual lab do not have enough devices.

Admission:

The cutt off ECE was around 67 in WBJEE. I got admission in this college without attending any group discussion or interview. I contacted with the admission cell of the college and they guide me all the way to of the admission process.
