What Students Say

Likes

Nice infrastructure and large campus size.
Hostel facilities are also available, 3 hostels for boys, 2 for girls
Gym, students common room & basketball court

Dislikes

Superior behaviour of students in the campuses.
Attendance is mandatory and some faculty members create issue for it.
No money for freshers is provided therefore no refreshment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good package opportunity, great learning skill development. Nice well educated faculty, regular classes, good student teacher interaction. Good no. of PHD holders in faculty members. Exams - Internal to be held in every 1.5months, finals - once each semester i.e. twice a year

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee hike almost 10% every new joinees. No hike once joined. Presently 5.5L in 4 yrs if qualified by JEE MAINS OR WBJEE. Scholarship - SVMCM for economically backward OASIS for SC/ST/OBC.

Campus Life

Annual fest - Refreshment once a year around September Tech fest - almost thrice each semester. Library - Books available and some are of old edition. Sports - okayish, self initiative to be taken, ncc available. Clubs - hardware, robotics, photography, cultural rhetoric etc.

Admission

Eligibility - WBJEE Or JEE Mains qualified Cutoff WBJEE- upto 28k rank CSE Management quota available. Can apply through counselling of WBJEE OR JEE MAINS Improvement - Time period for submission of documents.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
