Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.

Dislikes

Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Life at IIT Roorkee

Likes

Campus environment and infrastructure is good
People are nice and so helpful but self involved
Apart from the mess hostel is overall good

Dislikes

Mess food is not good, it need improvement
Mostly the courses are theoretical, it can be more practical
Grading process should be more lenient and students friendly

After 6th semester companies start to come for placements. More than thousand placement offers are made every year. Around 90% of students easily get placed. Average package is around twenty lakhs per annum. Highest can go in crores. And lowest is around five lakhs per annum.

Campus is very much huge and beautiful. iIt is lush green and has great Atmosphere
Excellent faculty for teaching, engages with students and good opportunities
Great placements and internships, good peer group

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not that good, mess too not good

Placement Experience:

The placements are amazing, with most people placed specially in computer science and engineering. The average net package of all branches being nineteen lakhs and that of computer science being over thirty lakhs

Get to know my college

Placement Experience:

We get campus placements in 7th semester and internships in 5th semester and we get companies like google ,microsoft, Qualcomm,jpmc,..etc. and also some quant companies like graviton ,quantbox etc. In cse almost 90% students get placed.

campus life of the college is really great
club culture is good, you can explore all kind of cultural activities
location of the college, a lot of places nearby for trips

Dislikes

mess food is not really good, it can be better
some hostels of the college are very old

Likes

The campus with greenary nature and peacefull environment
College life with good friends and good education and events held every year and clubs.
Most interesting things are cultural and technical fests were people enjoy

Dislikes

Some of the hostels are not up to mark and they should be renovated
As I am a south Indian I don't like the north Indian food so I am not satisfied with mess food

The placements are good in IIT ROORKEE as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in India From 4 th semester ending you will get internship Companies like Amazon Flipkart Google Microsoft and all other popular companies. Highest package will be aroud 1.5 crore per annum And the percentage of placements will be around 90 to 95 based on branch My plans is to get good job and work in it

As of Btech 4th year students are eligible for campus placements.I dont have much idea about campus placements since I am a 2nd yr student. But various companies visits our campus like Google , Microsoft, jpmc and quant companies like Quant box,graviton etc.

We all know that IIT colleges are basically famous for their campus placements with very high packages Jobs provided. The college placement quality is the best of all other colleges because the institution is the one of best engineering colleges in India, the university placement is also uploaded on the website. The college has a track record of 90% selection and the remaining 10% are those who leave the placement sessions to do something else or open their own start-ups or masters. The college's highest placement offer is 1.5Cr per annum and the average package placement is 18.5 lacs per annum Among the top college recruiters are Adobe, Paypal, Google, Microsoft etc. I am also planning for cracking the campus placements

Students are eligible for placement 1 year before the termination of their course. Companies like JN street, Google, Microsoft, Uber, etc visit. 1200 offers were made at the placement time. Number 1 college for engineering studies all over the world.

Placement Experience:

As IIT colleges are famous for their placements and this college is ranked third in terms of placements. So, the placement quality cannot be questioned. Because the institution is the best engineering college in India, the university placement is up to far. The highest package offered in this college was Rs 1.67 crore per annum in the CSE branch. The average package is Rs 24 lakh per annum. The college has a track record of 100% selection in big companies. Among the top college, recruiters are google, amazon, microsite, Qualcomm, de show, etc. My plan after getting into this college is to serve as a software engineer in the big companies mentioned above.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.

The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.

Merits

Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
The solution of the project is available for assistance
The videos can be saved for future reference
Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access

Demerits

The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.

Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
