I choose the Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering course from this college because it has a very high scope of opportunities for these college students to get a good job. The college curriculum is up to date and follows all types of corporate developments, and the curriculum helps us to keep abreast of the latest industrial modifications, which means it's overall updated fully. The college faculty consists of PhD holders and IITians themselves with extensive industrial experience. The faculty is the one who assists us at every stage of the placement. The faculty's teaching methods are an excellent and appropriate combination of traditional and modern techniques. The Exams are divided into many parts like practicals, mid-semester and end-semester.

This college also provides internship to interested students to who are willing to work and we are eligible for them after finishing the first year of the course we pursue. We are only eligible for an internship if we attend 70% of our classes. Many companies/industries visit our campus for the internship programme, and in order to participate, we must sign up for the placement committee. The average internship stipend is around 50k to 1lacs You can also submit your resume or CV by mailing it to the companies that you are interested in an Internship in their company. You also have to work on many projects to enhance your knowledge.

The Indian institute of technology Roorkee is mainly known for its annual and cultural events our college has a campus which is culturally diverse, and we have the opportunity to learn from people from all over the world. The college environment is conducive to learning and research. Shastra is the technological fest where we can get to show off our innovative ideas. The library is very large with many books from all over the World by various authors and writers. The college library also has international research journals.

The Indian institute of technology Roorkee has many hostels available for both boys and Girls with which 10 hostels where 4 hostels are for girls and 6 hostels are for boys. The hostel provides free WiFi 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The food at the hostel is excellent, and the menu is extensive. The rooms are available in both double and single occupancy. The hostel's discipline is excellent. There are also sports facilities. Holi, Diwali, and New Year's Eve are also celebrated at the hostel. The college locality is in the main city where also so many rental apartments and PGs are situated.

The eligibility of the course is having above 55% marks in your intermediate level exam in any authorised board. IIT Roorkee is India's best engineering college. IIT Roorkee has been ranked 3rd in India as the best engineering college. I received a good Rank in my JEE mains and JEE advanced through which I cracked this college. I chose IIT Roorkee because the college is the best in computer Science engineering, the placement is excellent, and the education levels are very high it's also my dream college.
