As everyone knows because this is a basic thing that to get entry into any IIT college, we have to clear two difficult exams named JEE MAINS AND JE ADVANCE, which need a lot of practice in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The eligibility of this course is you should have physics, chemistry, and mathematics in your class 12th, or we can say that you must have science stream in your class 12th. Every year, NIC release examination form for the students, so students can fill them and hence can apply for the examination, and can start the preparation of their JEE MAINS. IIT college is the dream of most students because of the benefits or facilities provided to them. So, this college does not provide any extra benefits to the students because their own benefits are enough for the students. I personally don't want to see any changes in the admission process because it is quite simple as well.

IIT roorkee is India's best engineering college. IIT Roorkee has been ranked third in India as the best engineering college since 2004. I received good marks in my JEE ADVANCED and my rank was also good so I got into this college with a computer science branch, which is my favorite. I have selected this course because I want to become a successful software engineer in one of the big IT companies like google, Microsoft, amazon, etc. and this college provides the opportunity to do so. The faculty-student ratio is quite balanced as there are approx 2 faculty for each subject. If I talk about the qualification, then all the teachers are Ph.D. holders in this college with good teaching skills and good education. As IIT college is famous for its teaching quality and placements, it can't be questioned. They clear all the difficult and boring concepts in a very easy and affordable way. As the course is difficult itself, so sometimes it becomes difficult to pass, it depends on the hard work of the students.

As IIT colleges are famous for their placements and this college is ranked third in terms of placements. So, the placement quality cannot be questioned. Because the institution is the best engineering college in India, the university placement is up to far. The highest package offered in this college was Rs 1.67 crore per annum in the CSE branch. The average package is Rs 24 lakh per annum. The college has a track record of 100% selection in big companies. Among the top college, recruiters are google, amazon, microsite, Qualcomm, de show, etc. My plan after getting into this college is to serve as a software engineer in the big companies mentioned above.

The fees are around Rs 1lakh per semester and Rs 2 lakh per year but it's not so painful for us because we can clear all the fees to spend on us in just 2 months with the help of placement from this college. The fees are high but the course is worth it. The scholarship is available in this college on the basis of merit and financial need through schemes like institute, merit - cum-means scholarships, institute free studentship, institute national prize, and SC/ST scholarship. Apart from these things, this college will further help you to take the scholarship provided by your local government. You have to just fill out the form and this college will further proceed with your form to the government.

The college environment is conducive to learning and research. Sarang is known as the college's annual fest and shastra is the technological fest held by the computer science students where we can get to show off our various innovative ideas. The library of IIT Roorkee is among the largest in the country with various types of books from all over the world by various authors and writers. The same thing is with the labs. The college library also has international research journals. The facilities provided for research are modern and outfitted with a wide range of search tools. Also, various types of sports events are held in this college. Students can participate and show their skills according to their interests. In short, IIT Roorkee's infrastructure is in ultra-good condition.
