It's 21 Departments. If We Talk About The Course Curriculum Then Its Well Maintened And Relevant To Tackle The Industry Needs. As The Curriculum Followed Here Is Still Old Curriculum But Some Professors Are Focusing To Change The Curriculum As The Old One Follows Old Patterns And Theory Mostly Not Hands On Experience. The Semester Is Divided Into 2 Parts Mid Sem And The End Sems. The Frequency Of Semester Is Somewhere Around 4 To 5 Months. The Difficulty Level Of Exams Depends On The Cousre Faculty Mostly Its Around Moderated To Tough Level.

The mechanical engineering curriculum is relevant, blending theory and practical applications. Key subjects like Thermodynamics shape my choice. Practical projects enhance real-world readiness. Suggestions: more focus on emerging tech, interdisciplinary projects, and practical assessments. Exam frequency is reasonable, but diverse assessment methods could better evaluate real-world application skills.

The exams are conducted every semester with a mid term The teaching scheme here is a little tough You have to have atleast 75% attendance which is a problem for many students I am in 2nd year and the 3rd and 4th semesters are a bit hectic duse to classes from 8 in the morning to 6 in evening

So from my childhood, my interest is in machines, technologies, and cars so I choose engineering more specifically mechanical engineering. In this course, we have taught about how the big coperative industries work and how we have to do work to maximize the profit and sells .we have taught all things to design ,manufacture , and then implement our idea on it frop basic to next level.

I will not rate the course curriculum that much because like my course is mechanical engineering and even after being a core student maximum of my branch mates are studying Web d , DSA like they know that they can only get their job in IT companies because core companies comes in very less quantity or even with much fewer package And the practical activities in the departments are much older like there is a course named engineering drawing ther is no need to teach this course for 6 months like most of the work is now happen on the computers so they should not make this on a simple chart paper with a scale and a pencil

This course is related to the mechanical core ,which fascinated me . Thus course give practical knowledge of machine and machining processes. New courses could be included which give basic knowledge of other branches. Exams are held twice in a single semester.

The course structure is according to field of my interest. The practical sessions helps us in our real life automotive making practice. The course is chances for our juniors and it's really good. Only problem is with attendance criteria which should be considered by government.

The course curriculum is somewhat standard which is mostly followed in other iits. As I am a mechanical student, in the first semester we were taught course like communication skills, Psychology, mathematics, physics. Overall environment is very good and all teachers are quite helpful.

I was interested in mechanics which became the reason I chose this course . The curriculum focuses more on practical part rather than theoretical thereby preparing us for practical applications. Improvement in course curriculum , in my opinion can be made by making use of old school type teaching rather than switching to modern method . The frequency of exams is ok in my opinion
