Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent. All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants. The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech
Nothing Bad but I need to say VIT has a slogan a chance to learn a chance to grow its really proved during my stay and still. It's a Great institute that makes me better engineering to serve my country.
The overall facility of the college is very good. It has good infrastructure very clean campus. The faculty of the college is also experienced and the placement is also very good in which more than 300 companies come to give placement. The only thing in college which is below average is its sports facility.
The entrance exam to join any course at VIT was VITEEE. It was for masters that I applied there. I had made my mind to follow my passion which was an automobile engineer. I applied for a master's in Germany which offers the best in this domain. But unfortunately, I din get through the selection procedure. The next best course in India was offered at VIT. The course was in Collaboration with the Automotive Research Association of India(ARAI). The get into this course toppers of the VITEEE exam are given an option to choose this course and one needs to crack a F2F interview conducted by ARAI and VIT.
I took the VITEEE. My rank was 16k. I was allotted a seat in the first phase of counseling itself. I opted for this college as it is one of the best private institutions in India.
It was based on the percentage that I got the admission. The course that is pharmaceutical chemistry is offered in very few colleges and as per my research, VIT was one of the best options to go into.
The only bad remark about VIT is that its intake has been increasing drastically and as an attempt to control such huge numbers, Strict Rules are coming into place. Apart from this Vit is really "A Pace to Learn and A Chance to Grow."
I finished my bachelor's in Pharmacy from Chennai and was ready to give my IIT-GATE exam in 2002 and got through a 96.34 percentile and applied to various colleges offering a master's degree in pharmacy using IIT-GATE exams. Vellore Institute of Technology was offering a stipend for a MAster of technology in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. I got through there with a stipend after an interview process with the chancellor and Controller of examinations. I opted for this particular university because it had a good environment to learn more.
I gave VIT entrance exam to qualified this college I secured 744 ranks out of 2500 student or might be more than and I choose this college because its best college in IT sector and give 100% placement.
